Food was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend the chicken snitzel and paprika chicken. Service was amazing aswell. They were great helping us with birthday cake arrangements. The pokie room is small but there's more than enough variety to have fun and win a few $$$. Overall it's just a really great place to eat, catch up with friends and have a fun night! Highly recommend. Thanks guys.

Great log cabin. Very spacious and comfortable. Lovely treed setting and no highway noise. All staff were friendly and cheerful. If you want to experience something quite different in your accommodation then this is the place.

Been here a couple of times and it always has a great atmosphere being the focal point of Sapphire/ Rubyvale. Great friendly staff, close to everything (supermarket, coffee shops, gem stores & caravan park) meals on offer were good however some were not to our liking so obviously the original chef/cook has moved on. First night we tried the Curried vegetables and rice, smelt great but far too hot to eat, the pork belly was good. Second night we tried the steak and lamb shanks this was also ok, third night we tried the chicken peri peri, this was great however the spaghetti bolognaise lacked the tomatoe sauce. Overhaul we spent 4 days in Rubyvale and supported the local community. The pub was great, but choose your meals carefully, maybe stay safe and order the usual pub originals.

Really enjoyed the 'new royal', friendly staff, meal was a classic tasty honest 'pub' meal with decent size portions. Was a cold night and fire was perfectly set. I seemed to get poor 5G while in town, however the pubs WiFi was excellent!
