The Maladjusted Vagabond

The old Mud Hut Hotel was a grand old pub. Unfortunately, that burnt down and has been replaced with another soulless drinking room. No atmosphere, no history.
I ordered a pizza for dinner. It came clearly burnt on the top and even worse underneath. Despite the cook and waitstaff obviously thinking that it was OK to serve (or otherwise it wouldn't have made it to my table), I thought it was inedible. Luckily, the owner or manager was having dinner right behind me and realised something was wrong. He agreed it was burnt and offered a replacement. After what was over half an hour, the replacement came out. Luckily, not burnt this time. However, I have what I thought was a reasonable expectation that pizzas are served hot. This was not, to point its moist doughy centre was cold. No staff asked me if it was better until they realised I wasn't eating it. The owner or manager came back over. I told him that it was like a frozen pizza that had not been cooked properly. He admitted to me it was a frozen pizza. A frozen pizza for $25?????
I didn't bother with a third.
To top off my Mud Hut Experience, I went to the toilet, and as I was returning to my table was harassed by clearly drunk indigenous locals in front of barstaff. The barstaff took no action. Maybe the staff hadn't seen the BOBB poster in the bathroom. Or maybe I guess they'll be drunk again, spending money buying drinks tomorrow, and many days after that, and I, I won't be coming back.
