Yesterday a group of friends and I got together to celebrate a 75th birthday. The table had been booked for three weeks, we had confirmed the booking last week and all was expected to go well. We ordered our meals at 1230 and had a round of drinks while we waited. And waited. And waited. at 2.40 the first couple of meals came out. then another couple 10 minutes later. The first four meals were eaten before the next few came out. Last meals were served at 2.55. There were many apologies, an explanation about a new chef, but still there were meals arriving on other tables long before ours, to people who had dropped in and ordered hours after us.
Then, as the last meals were finished three complementary jugs of soft drink arrived. We left most of them on the table and left. Extremely poor management. Never again.

We both had the chicken snitty with 3 little pigs topping for lunch & it was outstanding. I can pack away a fair meal and could only get through half of what was on my plate (huge serve) Also the service we received from Chris, Daniel & Mandy was warm and welcoming and highly recommend you check out the Mt Compass hotel. We'll go back for sure, cheers.

Took a client for lunch today. He had the Barramundi. Loved it. I had the spaghetti. I am quite fussy with food. This would have to be the best spaghetti I have ever tasted. Could not fault it. Well done to the Chef. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. They made you feel as is they have known you a long time. I wish I lived closer, it would definitely be my hang out. Great job guys. Can't wait to come back and try the lamb shanks.😁😁😁😁😁 10/10 from me.
