Drinks and ambience are very good, great community vibe. Food service is horrendous. Seems like they have significantly expanded seating but not kitchen capacity.
First pizza for the kids asked 3 times for no chilli flakes, came 30 minute later with lots of chilli flakes. Asked for it to be fixed, the response was they can refund or 30 more minutes for a new pizza because they had 'lots of orders'. How is the solution not to expedite the pizza order which they stuffed up? So the kids had no meal. The response from all staff was also very adversarial ("well do you want the refund or do you want to pizza").
Then the Parmi on the same order had still not come 30 minutes later. Both times we asked staff..."its coming, its always coming, we're just pretty busy".
Well it wasn't coming since we followed up again and again, then finally the chef was "trying to find the docket". Ended up arriving 1.5 hours after its was ordered and it was bland.
Customers understand that service gets busy. A small tip might be being polite to your customers when they are just looking for an update on how long their food will take or whether the order has been lost (which in this case it was).
