We drive from Adelaide. Arrived in Yorketown at 8 pm, and the ghost town was closed. Rang Minlaton Hotel and asked what time the kitchen closed. They said 8pm also. Then they asked where we were from. Once we answered, they reopened the kitchen for us and waited for us to drive the 25 min to them. The service us like non other anywhere. A+++++ MINLATON HOTEL is the best on the peninsula

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Very comfortable and tidy lunch room. Meal was prepared quickly and delivered to the table by a friendly waitress. Chicken schnitzel was a good size, the gravy was nice thick and tasty. Chips were hot and crisp. The complimentary garlic bread was an unexpected addition to a good meal.

Little hidden gem here people the food was mouth watering 10 out of 10 happy friendly staff

Staff are always friendly and the pub is always clean. Love coming here for a catch up and food from Primos

I never saw a staff member clean in the pokies room or the coffee machine area, the restrooms or table and seating areas to be honest. Lack of hygienic practices was a bit troubling to be honest, especially with the high tourist traffic. I didn't see any hand sanitise stations or wipes during my 2 week stay in the township.
However, it did have a self serve coffee machine. Fully stocked. Free. The addition of Primo is a bonus.
Not sure if free soft drink is available for patrons. Didn't see a sign. No staff member came to check on patrons. Bar area is removed from pokies and seating areas.
