Meat lovers pizza and South Coast Pale Ale. Atmosphere is great in the alfresco area with AFL, NRL & Olympics playing on the TV's. Lots of natural light with plenty of seating

Supreme Chicken tasted like it had been in a fridge and microwaved. Dry and had a weird taste. My Partner had cutlets and they were basically all fat, no meat whatsoever.
Got asked if we wanted something else off the menu which was appreciated but couldn't bring ourselves to try another dish.

Clean and tidy place for pub meal - in the Sports Bar - apparently the Steaks were given a 6 average by 3 and I had stale sandwich without the bread which was nice. Lots of TV's going on all with different channels, obviously seemed popular for a Tuesday night perhaps after footy training? Service was terrific

I was very disappointed with my roast. The beef was dry and hard to cut, potatoes where hard and the only green I had on my plate was maybe 6 green beans..Snitzel was ok but portion very small for the cost..
I had eaten there a few times when I've visited the area and food was great, but unfortunately,not this time..I doubt I'd go there again and to add to that, the person who took out order,misheard our table number and took awhile for them to work out where it belonged..

This place is a gem. Staff here are just so attentive and genuinely friendly and gp the extra mile to make your experience a good one.

I dealt with at least 5 different staff members and all of them were the same on their demeanor and service. Very impressive and not what I am used to.

The food was reasonably good and drink special great.

After a long drive to come here for a funeral the next day it was more than refreshing to come to this environment.

The staff were all friendly and full of energy and I didn't mind how one decided to share her story of why she was here.

Every time I went up to the bar or went up to order a Belgian Brownie which she greeted with an energy to work as at the time I was waiting for a bit near the bistro ordering spot but she waved me over as no one was at the bar which was nice to see.

My father and his partner enjoyed it here and found the dinner very filling.

Even with a small minor set back with ordering the staff that came over had a funny way of dealing with it that made it more of an experience.

My dad had the roast of the day, his partner had the wrapped souvlaki and myself the mixed grill which is rare to see on the menu.

All fantastic and well worth it.

If I'm ever in Mildura again I would like to come back here again and hope the staff are on for dinner again.

Nice restaurant in the area. I've tried steak and pork ribs which I enjoyed. They just need to present food and cutlery much better as they left disposable compressed towel inside the meal.

The atmosphere and service were good, and the food looked great, but I was soon disappointed when eating the chicken burger it tasted dry and rubbery like they had reheated it. I have previously had great experiences here, but that was not good at all.

great atmosphere, friendly staff who were ever helpfully to visitors who just turned Up.
food was well received and felt they were good to large portions
they have a kids menu and play area
the sports area has a large screen and individual screens for the edge tables it was great to watch the footy.

Service was wonderful, staff very friendly and helpful. Sadly there's no vegan options on the menu. They said that I could have the burger with a vegan chicken patty. I had to pay extra for the vegan patty. There was no cheese replacement. An extra $4 for the vegan chicken option, I don't personally believe it's right for the vegan option to cost a whole lot more especially when I'm not receiving all the items included in the original meal. The burger arrived and the bun was toasted to a crisp and it was a (I hope) vegan beef burger patty and not chicken as ordered.

Please in future, have a clear vegan option. Most places prefer to have a vegan option with the option to add items such as cheese etc.

I personally won't be returning. However, other meals did look nice.

The Gateway hosted our whole staff (47) for an online conference. They could not of been more accommodating. Sorting out all audio and visual solutions to ensure our meeting ran smoothly, they even ensured tech support was on standby.
They then ensured all 47 of us were fed in 45 minutes, making sure we made our charter on time.
The atmosphere was brilliant and the staff were amazing.
We definitely will be back. A great place to host a professional event.

Had dinner and a few beers here on a stop over through Mildura. Oddly enough I took photos of the men's toilets because I liked the design 😬

Ate there on a Saturday night while travelling west from Canberra so it was noisy and very busy. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the chicken salad and butterscotch fluff we had were excellent. Reasonably priced too. Can recommend eating there.

After a long drive had steak dinner here, it was lovely. The place is like an RSL but isn't one and has a bistro area ;also a large pokie area - which I am not a fan of) . The food and service was good and the steak was done bang on - also has a kids and a senior menu if desired

Lunched here on the way through Mildura and would have happily paid for the food twice!!
Awesome clean and inviting venue, excellent, friendly service... even though it was packed (you can understand why when you get your meal). The meals we had were faultless, large and very underpriced. Great menu, fantastic selection of drinks and live entertainment.
If this wasn't at the tail end of a long road trip we would have stopped here just to come back for dinner!

Excellent service and food at good value. The playground is a boon for kids. We had a variety of yummy food. The only drawback was that we were sat at high bar table on high stools. We had kids and a few shorter people who struggled to get up and down from the stools. I would be much more comfortable at a regular table and chairs.

Food was really good. I had the mixed grill and my work colleagues had the brisket. Definitely will be going back.

Better half and I ordered a couple of entrees to share for lunch. We ordered a BLT and the buffalo wings. Food was excellent, the wings were not over the top spicy but were nice and saucey. Service was excellent. We are planning on going back for dinner if time allows. Will put in a review for dinner if we make it. 8.5/10

Passing through Mildura we chose the Gateway Tavern due to location of where we were staying. We dined at Verde - exceptional service from all the staff! Amazing fit out - very impressed with everything to be honest. Our meals were great in size & pricing. Menu had lots of great options! Kids area was great for our 4 year old, not so much fun for the 12 year old. It was a fantastic experience as we could sit back & enjoy our dinner & drinks and the kids were happy. Did I mention the amazing service & fit out! Highly recommend - well done!!

Visited the new Verde outdoor area at the Gateway tavern. Meal sizes were quite large and good value for money. Plenty of seating and heaters for the cool weather and staff were very attentive especially considering we had a very large group of people (about 40). Definitely worth trying.

Up there with one of the best meals I've had. Definitely the best pub bistro meals I've had. My steak was cooked to perfection, the veggies were fresh, also cooked well. The size of the meal was generous and well priced.
All the staff were friendly and attentive. If I'm ever back in Mildura I'll definitely be back. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Thank you

Dropped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Clean modern decor and some very helpful and friendly staff. Had a pizza, it was very well done, super tasty and absolutely huge. I recommend if you have a big appetite. The other meals were equally well prepared and a good size. Encourage you to visit next time you're looking for a meal.

Deep fried Mars Bar on the menu, enough for two to share. Delicious but doesn't need the cinnamon and caster sugar sprinkled over the top as it makes it sickly sweet.

OMG what amazing service. Greeted at the door, shown our seats and such friendly accommodating staff. Our entrees came in 17 minutes and our mains 20 after that. Very fast. Filling beautiful meals and very yummy signature cocktail! Love, love, love.

We were really impressed with the Gateway. Looking for somewhere convenient, cheap and easy, we settled for here for dinner. We were so pleasantly surprised by the value and quality of our food, and the wonderful service from Nathan, our waiter. The pizza had "a rich flavour" (our 13 year old said), and the mussels were so generous and tasty.

Pasta and grill are perfect match. Ambiance is classy and staff are very welcoming. Do not hesitate to bring your kids here. They'll love it, too!
