With the service we had to night was the worst I have ever come across in any hotel/restaurant
Being busy is not an excuse for being rude
Bad service and lying to your customers
I was the first to order im my group of over 30 people and they did not order straight away
I ordered a beef salad and I was the last to get my meal
When it came, it came with the wrong sauce and the steak was so hard that the fork wouldn\'t even go through it
When ask for the right sauce again I got the wrong one once again
What happened to good old service where people listened
And took pride in the work
For the money you pay it\'s not worth stopping at this place go somewhere else
With better service and better meals
I definitely will not be going back nor will our party of 30 people
They use to be a great place to go nice meals nice service

Went tonight for my partners bday. The kids meals were ok decent size but no sprinkles for the childrens dessert...just plain vanilla icecream. My partners fish was disgusting very oily and just didnt look nice he couldn\'t eat it. My meal the garlic sauce was very plain and boring no garlic taste at all and very small portion and chips were cold. My stepsons pizza was tasteless and not worth the money. Will not recommend. The meals use to be good but defintley gone down hill. Some of the staff weren\'t friendly at all. Wasn\'t a good night for a bday celebration 😪

Complimentary sparkling for the mums which was nice.
Food was boring and uninspiring. Provided basic items one would expect on a buffet such as bacon, hash browns, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, toast and scrambled eggs. There were warm store bought piklets, canned fruit salad, coco pops and weetbix.
The warm food seemed like it had been sitting there a while. The piklets were hard and dried out. Hashbrowns soft, not crunchy. The toast barely toasted (only option was white bread chucked in a bain marie tray). But the eggs were absolutely disgusting. They were so over cooked and dry with the texture of playdoh.
For a Mothers Day breakfast I thought it would be a bit more special with fresh fruit, pastries, muffins etc
I had been excited to try this place since the last renovations. It was extremely disappointing to spend over $200 on breakfast and drinks. It could have been better if items were cooked in smaller batches to maintain quality.

Great Tavern to bring the whole family , they have all sizes of tables & the food is to just about die for i had the beef Schnitzel with pizza topping & had chips & helped myself at the salad bar , also great tea & coffee . So go & enjoy yourselves ok & the prices are not to bad as well 🤩??'???'???'???'?

I came here with my family, and after I ordered the battered fish there was enough time to get appetizers and eat them before the meal came out without having to wait long. Some of the bread rolls were a bit tough and hard to cut but didn\'t taste bad. The chips I got with my fish could of been bit warmer but they weren\'t cold. The battered fish and chips tasted great and very filling. We will be coming back.
