We were encouraged to pay for an upgrade for a poolside room which was not poolside and then told the pool wasn't open. Was refused service for wine due to it being quiet and hardly anything was available on the menu. Most sad though was the lack of locals in the pub. Lack lustre experience from what was a vibrant pub.

A Memorable Stay and Scenic Flight
We had a wonderful time at the Marree hotel. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, filled with fascinating memorabilia that offered a glimpse into the region's history.
We also took the Lake Eyre flight, which was an absolute highlight of our trip. The flight was both informative and incredibly scenic, providing breathtaking views of the vast and arid landscape. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Very nice place. The staff is very kind. Good atmosphere. I spend a night in the "campground" after I get the meal. The showers and toilet are clean. Perfect for me !!

Absolute beautiful place, so glad we decided to stop over and enjoy the pub and company of others at the pub. Laugh and joke about the world we live in. Fireplace out on the tarmac lit by the owner. Stayed around the fire until closing with others and our dog.

Arrived after a 10 hour drive to be met by a very rude female owner.
No hello, no nice to see you, just a diatribe about not being early for breakfast or late either!
We had no intention of still being here for breakfast as we like to get on the road early.
Our intention was to have a drink and dinner but not after that so she lost at least 0 of revenue tonight.
Stayed here before but not again!
Room dusty, no toaster and the minimum of shampoo etc.
