This is a fantastic golf course. The course is very open withfew trees, but has many hazards across the course to capture the wayward shot. The greens are large with gentle undulations and run really smoothly. The proshop was well stocked and the club house is welcoming with many food and drink options. There is also all the practice facilities that you could hope for. If you\'re looking for a round of golf on the sunshine coast this course is one not to miss.

Great place. Nice views of the course. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. Good portion sizes.

Great course, receptive greens, wide fairways and very well kept. Good fun until the wind starts.
Driving range is the best on the Coast.
Mini golf is an awesome family day out.
The club house has a big deck/outdoor area and a large indoor seated area. It serves $8 schooners, ripper meals at very competitive prices.

I'd like to acknowledge the people behind Maroochy River Golf club, because great golf facilities are built by the people who turn up every day to make them work. A thank you to Nigel Gibson (General Manager), Matthew Rogers (Director of Golf), Ben Dobson (Golf Operations Manager), and Nikki Seymour (Administrator) for the leadership and organisation that keeps the club moving forward. Also to the board members including Mark Holahan, Merryn York, Andy Meldrum, Steve Hogan, Ian Donaldson, Claye "Chopper" Jacobson, and Carmel Smith, who help guide the club and its future. In the junior and administrative side, people like Robyn Swart also play an important role in keeping the community connected. Over in the Queensland Golf Performance Centre, there is an impressive group of coaches including Sean Seymore, Marcus McPherson, Di Pavich, John Wright, Cameron Banks, Katelyn Must, and Jessica Cook, all helping golfers improve and pushing the standard of coaching forward. Even though I'm based further down the coast near Caloundra, I regularly send golfers toward Maroochy River because I know they will be looked after. It takes commitment and intention from a lot of people to build a golf community like that, and the work being done there is noticed and appreciated. - Colin Davie

I really enjoyed playing this links style golf course which is very much a golfers paradise. Not only do you have a championship golf course but also excellent practice facilities, a quality mini golf area and a superb club house with great views overlooking the course.

The condition of the course was outstanding with the fairways and bunkers in excellent condition as were the greens that rolled true. But be warned, the greens are extremely quick. The fairways are wide with few trees, however, there is plenty of trouble for any errant shots with numerous water hazards.

The facilities consisted of a large putting green, grassed driving range and a short game practice areas including bunkers.

The pro shop staff were very friendly and professional and the shop carried all golfing equipment and accessories.

I look forward to playing this course again in the future.
