Came for lunch with a friend. Haven't been to the pub for about ten years. Had a steak sandwich. Just a regular one but you can actually add more steak to the order!! How cool is that? AND it was served on normal thick sandwich bread like you used to get before they started serving the stupid breads. Friend had a Parmi. Great size for lunch! Overall good experience. Well done chef! Quick service great lunch!

We stayed at Maleny hotel for one night while attending a wedding in Montville and really enjoyed our stay. It's a lovely old Queenslander-style pub with lots of charm and character.

The rooms had beautiful high ceilings and very comfortable beds, and even though the bathrooms were shared, everything was spotless and very well maintained.

The atmosphere of the hotel made the stay feel relaxed and welcoming, and it was a perfect base for the weekend in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Overall, a very clean, comfortable, and character-filled place to stay - we'd happily stay here again.

Service good . Management needs to realise Maleny is a tourist attraction from other states and overseas visitors as well a a local i don\'t think the food or seating at the kitchen suits the vibe of an old charm hotel we booked for 5 our seating was crammed into a reserved section outside the kitchen with everyone else that booked . Looking at many tables with more desirable seating in areas that was empty . So many nice areas un used . Food ? Very ordinary . Chips were great thats it . Salad was flat and lifeless dry with no body looked unwashed the tomato and cucumber were fridgy fish? bloody terrible . Service was fairly good but in a messy way . Friendly though . Kids doing their best . I put it down to ordinary management with no vision and no care of word of mouth wanting people to come back

Had an 88th birthday at Maleny hotel and it was wonderful! The food, the location, the staff were all amazing. A couple of ceiling fans on the deck for the heat would\'ve been nice but, apart from that, I recommend the hotel for any Maleny visitor (or local😉)

This is one of my favourite spots for lunch. Spacious beer garden. Doesn\'t feel like the tables have been squashed in or that you are sitting on top of other diners.
Very dog friendly.
Great menu variety and reasonable prices. Good vegetarian options.
Staff are friendly.
Feels like an old fashioned country pub with modern menu in a pretty little town.
