We were extremely impressed with the Maffra Community club for all out 6 lunches yesterday.
The seniors meals are amazing with enough choices on that menu and for $20 including a free house wine, beer or soft drink ! You can also choose to add a sticky date pudding to the seniors meals for only $7 more.
One of our party ordered the seniors fish and chips, it was a very decent size meal and included lovely fresh salad ,nice chips and 2 golden pieces of fish.
Our other meals were the Oscar parmas and regular parmas, some with salad and some with veg. It was nice to have a choice of veg as I seem to find a lot of places only offer chips and salad these days. The veg were cooked to perfection and not covered in unnecessary herbs like I\'ve had in other venues recently. Chips, salad and all parmas were just perfect ! The pepper gravy though was the absolute bomb ! Creamy, just the right consistency and the most flavoursome pepper gravy I\'ve ever tasted !
I always love to see half serves available on menus and this time I was very happy to see the option of several meals available in half serve. The smaller Parma in my pictures was the 1/2 serve. It was a very generous anyway but particularly for $23.
As well as all this the staff were very friendly, seating comfortable, kids play room was a bonus for us with a 2 year old, drinks cold and the venue clean. We will definitely be recommending maffra Community sports club to others and it will now be where we eat out when in the area.
