We are members here and have been coming here for 6 years now. The food has always been very good. We bought some friends here looking forward to a great meal. We were very disappointed. I always order the fish and this was absolutely disgusting, 3 little strips of fish in greasy batter and the salad was mushy . The chicken burger was burnt and looked gross. Didn't taste good at all. At least the Parma was edible. So disappointing!!

Food was great, the service quick, staff friendly and prices affordable. Overall, it is an excellent place to catch up with friends and family.

Sporting and Community Club. I ordered shortly after our arrival. We had not been here before so we were looking forward to a nice lunch. The pub's refurbishing is excellent and we thought we would be in for a real treat.
I don't actually know what happened to our order but it took at least three quarters of an hour. People on our same table who ordered just before us were served within 15 minutes and l wrongly assumed our meals would be right behind theirs but not so. We ordered fish and chips and salt and pepper squid. Both meals were bland and fairly tasteless.
We won't be back.

Thankyou so very much, what a hidden Gem and the staff I mean all of them from the moment we entered till the time the door was opened on our departure was class and friendly. Saturday evening meals were great but the Gold Star goes to the way they all respected my Service dog. Cheers to Maffra Community Services Club.

Super friendly staff. The upstairs was a great venue for a birthday party. Classic food. An all-round fun day. BYO cake and balloons easy peasy party

No more seniors lunch time specials so will not be bringing our groups anymore
The one star is so I could do a review, it was the best and would go often but sad you are not doing lunch specials

Awesome place and great food

The food was bad. I had the cabanara and found hair in it.
My sister had the gummy with chips and salad. The chips were cold and not cooked.

Staff were very accommodating after a booking issue. Chip shortage at the moment but substituted sweet potato fries.

Food was good. Beer was cold.

If they got rid of the pokies it would be a nice place.

Went for a lovely drive from Sale to Mafra in Victoria Australia and called in to the Mafra Community Sports Club for lunch
We had a roast and hamburger
The roast meat was dry and cold, the vegetables were cold and the gravy was cold. The gravy even had a skin on it where it was cold
We had to wait 50 minutes for lunch and we were the first ones there at 11.30am
We should have been told it would take a long time for our lunch as we were in a hurry
I asked twice how long our meal would take and 20 minutes before our meal arrived I got told they were constructing the burger

Went for lunch arancini balls beautiful..Chicken Kiev something else cut open nothing in the middle of the kiev an no garlic sauce.. went an told kitchen staff gave us creamy garlic sauce an offered free drinks... but couldn't eat the kiev because creamy garlic sauce was sickening 😫

Great lunch $18 plus they served us happily with only 5 minutes till the kitchen closed.

Lovely venue, friendly staff and a great meal. Well worth the visit if you are travelling through Maffra.

Staff are pleasant and happy to assist. Great atmosphere and food was well presented and eatable. Would come back again.

Usually a good meal but tonight was very disappointing. They had a function upstairs which clearly had an affect on the kitchen. 4 out of the five meals that came to the table where very average with a very long wait. Wont be back if they keep this up!

Went to a 60th surprise birthday party. Well, they couldn't do enough for us, so friendly and obliging, the certainly know their business. Food was fantastic. Everything was great. Had a meal there as well. Top stuff. You need to try it out for sure.

Stayed in Maffra one night. Loved this club. The meals were excellent. Well presented and cooked. We had a seniors meal for $16.50 which included a drink. The staff were exceptional. So friendly. Will definitely go back.

Always good for a meal and drink. Not fine gourmet dining but good honest pub tucker at good prices. Staff always friendly and efficient
