Great venue. We, as a group of ladies, come here often to have morning tea and lunch and play our card and board games. The music is not too loud and the staff are wonderful, always looking after our needs. The coffee is lovely and the food is great. We love coming here.

Very disappointed with the food quality.

I paid extra for vegetables and they arrived cold. Not just slightly cool, but completely cold and unappetising. My daughters schnitzel was visually burnt, extremely dry, and it was difficult to eat. Mine and my husbands steak were over cooked and somehow also cold, the venue wasnt busy, but the lady chef and what I can gather is the a manager (big chubby bald guy) were too busy talking and leaning on benches rather than working and serving.

When I returned the meal and requested a hot replacement, I was shocked to see the steak taken from my plate and the vegetables put straight into the microwave rather than a fresh meal being prepared. Reheating with a microwave is not an acceptable solution.
If i wanted a microwave meal, I\'d stay home.

The food quality and kitchen standards on recent occasions were well below what I would expect. If customers are paying good money for meals (over $80 for our meals), they should receive food that is freshly prepared, hot, and cooked properly the first time.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst bistro meals I have had in a long time.

Lawnton you\'ve backslid, and dropped your standards.

Pubgrub doesnt require a phd, only the basics of the certs..

The only nice thing about your bistro is Kat, she has the most beautiful energy. And I want to make sure this review of poor food quality doesnt reflect anything on her.

Came here for dinner tonight, got a seat straight away and served very quickly

The lady that served us showed exceptional customer & table service, she even brought my housemate & I some Minties after dinner!

The steak was awesome, I\'ve been here a few times before and it\'s always been a consistently good feed.

Definitely would recommend Lawnton Tavern for a quiet dinner on a Wednesday.

We travel with our St John Seniors Social Group and highly recommend this location. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our group of 10. The chef was alone in the kitchen and the staff promptly informed us that our meals will come staggered. We all had our meals and eating within 30mins and it was all delicious! Absolutely no complaints. We will be back!

Today myself and my husband celebrated our baby shower here at the tavern and omg we cannot be more happier with the service we recieved . The food was absoutly amazing , the staff went above and beyond . the aptomospher was just amazing . Thank you so much and we we cannot recommened these guys enough
