Customer Review

Always love King's Creek Hotel, staff are super friendly and the steaks are spot on ??'? Had the pepper sauce tonight with my steak as usual, first time I've had it where it seemed to have cinnamon in it. Bit different but I really liked it. High five to the chef who came up with that one, definitely recommend ??'???'???'? Thanks guys!

Wow. Went not expecting much, in quality of food. Looked at menu, Was a little shocked to see prices ending in $15.86 $43.93 .. ordered. Lovely friendly customer service, food came our. Oh lord. Steak was Rump, it was more tender than a eye fillet cooked to perfection. Couldn't fault one thing on my plate. Also a butter chicken was also served up tender spot on spices. I had to go and give the chef a hand shake. Very impressed.

I would love to give service and the total review 5 stars, however the fact that I not only had to get up to order, I also had to get up to find napkins and cutlery after receiving our meals was annoying. Kinda weird to not get plates with an entree either and try to not make a mess when sharing it.
Lovely staff, atmosphere is great, food is lovely too - just maybe give me a knife and fork before giving me my food?

Didn't know King's Creek existed prior to visiting on a warm Friday evening around 7pm
It's visually impressive on the outside and has a modern look on the inside.
The bistro was full and they had room for the extras in the Sports bar.
We booked and this was a good decision
Staff are friendly, energetic and swift.
I had a tasty chook Parma. (It was a good size. Not a mutant chook covering the plate )My wife went for roast pork and crackling.
This was good pub grub with some imagination - worth a visit if you are in the Tyabb/Hastings area.

Bistro was clean well set up and has its own entrance from the rear. So you don't have to go through the hotel. Plenty of parking service was very good and the food great. The Kings Parma I highly recommend and my wife loved the pasta bake.
Great place to stop off

Lovely atmosphere with a clean, cheerful and relaxed décor.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Meal precise we're quite $ expensive $ and as a chef myself I was a little appreciative to eat here because of this.
However all meals were cooked exceptionally well, being seasoned, dressed and presented with care.
I thought about giving 4 stars because of the excessive pricing, however all 9 meals were cooked perfectly and it was a special night out for us all- so the overall experience was perfect.
Just be prepared to pay a little extra than most other places.

I was looking for the flavour, but all I found was a hair in my food. No word of a lie.
I understand times are tough but when you pay good money you expect a good meal, not cheap substitutes. All while freezing our backsides off next to the fire place that had no fire.

Booked for Mother's Day not knowing what to expect as we had never been. Delighted to
Our surprise it had a play ground, arcade etc. normally our kids are the loudest and we don't see them. They said the playground was so good that it was at times too much for them so they had to come chill out. It's rare anything is too much for our kids so we know that they enjoyed it based on that. Food was good even if it was a tad pricey.

This meal gets 2 stars; 1 for the cheesy garlic bread and 1 for the roast veggies. The rest was truly questionable, especially for the extortionate price of $145! We came here hoping to get a feed after a long day without eating much prior only to be let down by the less than mediocre food. The imitation "crumbed calamari" from your local freezer isle and the chips that were seemingly microwaved in the bag they came from and then chucked in an airfryer for a minute were the real low points. The gravy and roast beef had a strange bitter taste. My partners steak was well underseasoned and the sauce accompanying the steak wasn't great either. The staff were friendly, the pub looks great and I could imagine the atmosphere in there would be amazing when it's buzzing with patrons BUT I wish they served food to match.

We normally eat at another pub venue but tried the King's Creek for Saturday lunch for a change. The atmosphere is relaxed and there was plenty of room in a fairly large and well laid out dining area. I had a chicken schnitty and my wife had the roast beef. The schnitzel was good and typical of pub fare with chips and salad. I liked the salad as it was simple, fresh and the dressing was just right. My wife's roast beef was beyond exceptional. The serving of slow cooked beef was very generous and was sliced into thick pieces that were unbelievably tender. It was accompanied by roast spuds, and every conceivable veg plus a proper Yorkshire pud.
The staff were very friendly, polite but not in your face and it was obvious they enjoyed working here. The entire lunch was so enjoyable that we went back for Sunday lunch again today.
I had the calamari and it was the real deal, full on, proper calamari. So many pubs nowadays use the mashed and stamped calamari and it was refreshing to have it crumbed and fried like it was in the 'old days'. Today my wife had the Parma and instead of the chips she requested vegies as well as the salad. It was no problem for the kitchen and they were happy to oblige. She did her best but we had to bring some home in a doggie bag.
All in all it was a lovely meal and the roasts and calamari was a standout. It was first class pub food served by lovely people in a very relaxed environment. The King's Creek will now be my 'local'

Last night my boyfriend and I were quite tired and hungry coming home from the city, by the time we decided to get dinner it was about 8pm and we stumbled along kings creek Hotel and decided to give it a try!

We walked in and the feel of the hotel was a very quiet and country styled hotel, all staff were really friendly, especially the girl with the blue hair she was very helpful and such a lovely server!

There were the perfect amount of options on the menu.. and such good milkshakes might I add!

The meals came out super super fast, I'm not sure if that was because it was quiet or not! But the meals were absolutely gorgeous I ordered the calamari it tasted so good with the fresh salad and tasty tartare sauce (which tasted homemade) my boyfriend ordered the 'smash burger' which he definitely smashed!! It looked super delicious!

The kitchen closes at 9pm which is perfect for last minute decisions. And a perfect restaurant for a family night out with a massive arcade and playground for the kids to!!

We will Definitely be back!

My partner and I are locals, and we always come here for date nights. Staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. Also a huge fan of the garden and just the general atmosphere.

Always a pleasure to dine here!

We were passing by and spontaneously popped in for lunch and oh my, weren't we glad we did! Absolutely delicious roast! I'm from the UK and it was a proper English roast and was absolutely perfect! The beef was totally melt in the mouth and we will definitely be returning and we are already planning on who we are going to bring here to catch up with friends and family who would also love it! Comfortable and lovely interior and can't wait to return in warmer months to enjoy the outside also. Thanks again Kings Creek Hotel! What a little gem you are!😊

Slow cooked roast was awesome! Had it a few times now and never disappoints. The pub's sports bar is fantastic with a huge TV screen. Plenty of open space throughout the pub and really friendly staff.

Got out of town for the first time in over a year and found ourselves in the area. Friendly, attentive service with quality food. I had the roast beef and veggies and wife had fish and chips. Generous servings and good food.

Ate a Kings Creek yesterday, had the Thai Beef Salad and it was no joke the worst salad I've ever eaten.
No flavour and the beef tasted like cold meat that had been stored in the fridge for a week and cut up.
I never thought I'd be this person leaving a review but it's such a shame because the venue is so beautiful but the food is terrible.
Definitely would not recommend 😬

The food and venue were quite enjoyable.
Staff were nice but I realised my friends and I were all charged different amounts for the same order.
I doubt it was intentional but I don't think it's fair for customers to pay for what was undoubtedly human error on the bartenders end.

Really good - the beef brisket dish was fantastic. Chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert was a winner. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this place - very underrated.

Really nice pub, friendly staff, and good food. The menu as of the date of this review is a bit small, but it's got everything you'd expect a pub to have and a smaller menu means more consistent quality. But I do wish they'd add a few more steak cuts to the menu, they currently only offer a 300g porterhouse.
