Service was great, Friendly welcoming.
This was a Saturday night, and we did book a table, but there was still a couple of spare tables. You should book on Friday and Saturday nights.
I was surprised to find full tables service, but it has been a few years since I have been there. I must admit the food has improved also.
I have a broken arm, and the chef kindly diced my brisket, and on that I can highly recommend the Brisket, but make sure you ask for mash potato.

We hadn't been to Trackside for years . Previously had found the food to be very ordinary. This time we were very impressed.
The staff were really friendly , Great relaxed atmosphere and the food was fabulous !! Very reasonably priced . They don't have seniors meals, but they do offer half serves which works out similar . The half serves are a great size and just enough to fill the spot . I definitely recommend you put this place on your list If ever you're in the area .
The only reason this place didn't get five stars , is the outdoors undercover area with tables and chairs is definitely not meant for a bony bum to sit on. The chairs are all steal slats so I would recommend booking in the bistro as the seats are very uncomfortable.
This place is also wheelchair accessible. Nice and spacious in the bistro , lots of gaming machines to choose from and for a wheelchair , good size toilets.

Very friendly and fast service. The seafood risotto was awesome. The Barramundi fish & chips were fresh and delicious. The chicken schnitzel was a little dry. Wine selection was nice (and not expensive), views of the track were great and we really appreciated the great wheelchair access for my mother in law. Overall lunch was great value... Nice work guys.

Had lunch today. My wife had the Beef Wellington and I had the three little pigs. Compliments to the kitchen as they were supurb. Best meal we've had out for a long time. Also it was great to see that the menu wasn't just the three P's pizza, pasta and parma's like all the other pubs these days. Service was great as well. We will be back.

The first time I've ever been here, wow a stark difference to other places deemed 4 star or above. To be honest, this beats the so called 4 star places. The food was on point, the service was fantastic. Atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. The speed of service was very quick.
Well done trackside, we will be back!

The dishes we had tonight were the chicken scallopine and the seafood paella.

Friendly service, very efficient and came out quick with great presentation, the chips and salad were amazing but unfortunately that's where it ended. The chicken parmigiana was dry and the sauce tasted like tomato paste. Other peoples meals seemed good except for the chicken parma and chicken schnitzels so seems to be specific to those. It would of been 5 stars otherwise.

Had a lunch here and it was awful price to much for a 30 dollar dish of fish and chips it was worth only 20 dollars and the lamb shoulder as meh not even worth 36 dollars I'm not going to get started with the other 2 dishes that we order 100 dollars of bad food the only good thing was some staff

Went to morning melodies at trackside it was great. Everyone singing and dancing fab atmosphere a fun day and good food. The staff were lovely too

My wife and I don't eat out much. The service was good and friendly but no one asked if we enjoyed the, presumably they knew the food terrible which we thought it was. We will never go back and would advise against any of our friends to eat there. Sorry don't normally do reviews but it was bad.

Attended a meeting. Food was served while the meeting was in progress, with minimal fuss. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Medium to large portion. Had coffee and dessert afterwards. Reasonable service, desserts were fresh . A little bit costly.

I've eaten here before and it used to be a lot better. My $28 warm chicken salad had half a bowl of salad and 3 tiny shrunken dry tenderloins. When I complained I was told the kitchen do it that way and won't do it differently regardless of complaints received. $28! I assumed from that the kitchen was leased and this was a cost cutting thing. No. The chefs are employed by Trackside and do this because they want to and won't be corrected. Kids fried ricecwas scant and fried tofu was mushy tempeh. Bitterly disappointed and will never eat here again.

Was extremely busy. Meals were slow to come out but great food, great value. I feel they missed my meal but were super quick to fix that, hats off for that recovery. Definitely will go back

Well distanced tables in what is a big dining space with great views of the track.
Service always on point but meal (chicken parma) was over cooked and quite pricey for size of meal.

Barely had any pulled pork in the croquettes. Spent over $30. Not only was there for not good, it also made me lose appetite.

The staff were lovely. Clean environment. Few gluten-free items, I would have like to see a few more options. However, the food was good. Indoor settings were cosy.

Staff were very friendly and I liked the way the lady was cleaning machines constantly. Haven't seen that in any other venue yet.

Lady at the front, who had her mask around her chin and therefore not covering her nose or mouth at all, denied entry because my father didn't have a mask and they "don't accept exemptions". Perhaps if you are going to enforce a mask mandate, you should be wearing your own properly.

Great feed, ice cold local cider was very good, lovely helpful and polite staff even when we turned up 10 minutes before the end of lunch and the air con was working a treat on a 35 degree day.
Recommend giving it a go when in Kilmore.

Beautiful meal and very good service

Excellent venue to hold a function with exemplary service by all the staff members. The food there is 2nd to none.

I've given this place several attempts to impress me over the years, but have been let down every time. Food is below average, service is dreadful, and prices are high. The only positives are the view of the track and the reasonably modern building.

I don't like giving bad reviews. I've been to this venue at least 10 times over the past 5 years, usually because someone else chose it as a venue. I definitely wouldn't choose it myself nor recommend it. Food quality is terrible, service is amongst the worst I've experienced, and the prices are high. Nice view from the bistro and great architecture, but everything else is terrible. If it wasn't for the architecture and view, it would be 1*

Every visit is different, lately it has been fabulous, great service and excellent staff.
