Enjoyed a stop over at Kilkivan while passing through in our van. Stayed across the road from the hotel in the RSL Memorial Park.

Great setting providing easy access to the pub. Very popular with visitors and locals alike.

Enjoyed a wholesome counter meal on the evening of our stay. Great meat lovers pami and beef cheeks and mash were the go!!

Staff at the pub were nothing but amazing, we came out to see a band play on Sunday, had the best afternoon, locals and staff made us feel so welcome we stayed at the motel and the rooms were fantastic, one of the best nights sleep ive had in long time.

We had a great time at this Country Hotel. A gorgeous young lady behind the bar was lovely and friendly.

A little bottle of SB $8.50. Great prices. Keeping them low to encourage patronage. Our meals were terrific. Chicken Schnitzel??'?Fish/Chips??'?Nothing to complain about. Very convenient that we could park opposite as a free camp. And pet friendly 🐶Super.

Camped across the road in the free camp area. Had a really nice meal at the pub. Service was efficient even tho they were really busy. Interesting place to check out. Good food, good prices. Huge range of drinks on offer.

Called in while staying at the free camp across the road. Had lunch and a cold beer or two. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub was pet friendly as well. The meal came out quickly and was great. We will be calling in again when passing through.

Great retro hotel. Loads of history.

Staff are very friendly, all smiles. Blonde behind the bar was pretty and likes a joke. Beer was cold and the place was roomy with loads of art and decor to look at.

Called in with a heap of mates on bikes, maybe 12 of us. Fantastic food very quick and cooked well. Friendly staff, just a great experience all round

I was taking part in the Race to the Rock 2023 and stopped in just after the kitchen was closed and the staff rustled me up a roast of the day and a few lemon lime bitters and even let me have a shower even though I wasn't staying there. It was a great way to end Fathers Day. Thank you so much for the hospitality I won't forget it.

The staff are friendly, the food is good and the beer cold.
We stopped over after a late exit from Brisbane one Sunday evening and the chef kept us a roast dinner warm and a bottle of red after the kitchen had long closed!

Great food, fresh fish with tasty covering ( no soggy batter), chips, and fresh salad, and thank God not a damn rocket leaf on the plate at all.

Since new management have taken over I have not only witnessed this place becoming the centre piece of the local community. But also the food and service has increased tenfold.

Ordered lunch an hour ago. Bangers and mash and a lasagne. Was with a group of 14 others. Others got their food well before us and were all ready to leave and we didn't yet have ours. Went and asked and 10 minutes later it came. They'd no doubt forgotten us. I asked for refund. Manager/whatever came out and was rude in her approach about "our problem" and what was "our problem." Explained and she didn't care less. Instead of admitting to it being forgotten and apologising for the delay she indignantly that she'd give us a refund IF we stopped eating it. We stopped eating and got a refund. She was rude and not the type of person who should be in such a position. Not happy at all with your lack of service. And yes, the group was booked in.

Great feed!! Great service!! This is why you visit these beautiful spots to remember what the good old days were like everywhere, before Woolworths owned every pub. Food was great beer was poured perfectly and atmosphere ??'? will head for a Sunday drive just for other feed.

Country pubs are something else, this hotel no exception. The people are very friendly and helpful. Had lamb shanks for lunch, well recommended... Bar prices more than reasonable...

The meals came out quickly. A T bone and a Salmon. Both were eaten and thoroughly enjoyed. We wouldn't hesitate to return, or recommend to anyone wanting a decent country pub meal. Went in there a few months ago for a meal...ignored so left. I hear the food is great but we didn't even get the "opportunity". Staff needs some education on hospitality at the order counter.

Camped across the Road. So can't review rooms. Meals were good size and reasonably priced.

The new ownership is transforming this old pub into the hart of the town once again. A wonderful emphasis on service and a good country pub feel.

A great pub in a lovely little town. The food and service was terrific. The sticky date pudding is the absolute best

Genuine country pub, with great country hospitality and the usual pub food. Cold beer and hot plentiful food. Was busy the night we were there, with a mixture of locals and grey nomads. An enjoyable evening.

Clean room and great for a country Motel. Next to the Hotel but wasn't noisy (it was a Thursday night though). Food at Hotel nice.

Only one shower and toilet upstairs - get in quick. The staff owner wer friendly and helpful and the modestly priced tucker was good. A good beer garden to relax with friends.

Got a motel room, very clean and very comfortable, way better than I expected. The towels were extra big! Ate in the pub and had a ripper of a T-bone steak, could hardly finish the meal. The staff were very friendly towards out of towners. A great experience all round. Thank you!

What a great place to visit with so much history. The service, food and ambience are great. You have to stop here for a cold one.

Great old school Aussie pub, steaks for dinner were sensational, fair price at $30. Rooms in the hotel are clean basic, share bathroom, cheap at $70 p/night, the whole pub nicely decorated with old Aussie memorabilia , mattress was hard but I like it that way. Staff were lovely and friendly, definitely drop on for a beer and food, or stat the night.
