Had dinner here with the family and lunch the next day. Pretty slow food coming out. Not bad food but can be improved for the money they charge I would expect table service. Menu is pretty ordinary not much entree or share wise apart from smoked food which I think ruins a small country pub. Pretty unfortunate that the owner is putting money into the brewery side of the pub and the rest of the venue looks sad. Kitchen needs expenditure spent on it. I would not return in a hurry.

The veggie burger buns were cold and partially frozen in the middle and so dry that the chef should be fired for serving it. They put a small splash of some watery, vinegary, horribly flavoured sauce in the centre but left all the edges dry-it was inedible. I'm assuming the snitzels and chicken burgers were out of a packet as they were all the same shapes. My 11 year old asked if we could leave her burger and go to the bakery.
Absolute rubbish. The worst food we've ever eaten.
Save yourself hundreds and go to another shop on the road.

What a rip off price for the quality of meals ..1 out of 10 possibly works for us. We had 8 people and can assure you we were all totally dissatisfied. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY...go get a doughnut instead!.

I love this country pub. I had lunch there 2 days in a row while camping near by. Service was friendly. I couldn't fault the food, it was delicious. I had the lamb pie and my husband had steak.

Was going to give dinner 2out if 10, so 1 out of 5 works. My steak sandwich looked nothing like the photo - bun was burnt and was pretty bad, the steak lettuce & tomato part were ok. Chips were good. My friend had the fish special which didn't smell too good to me, she said it was rubbery/overcooked. The broccoli was undercooked. Not good enough for the the price!
