Laughable "steak night" order 1 rare and 1 medium rare.. Somehow they had managed to take the time to overcook the steak but serve it not quite hot and not quite cold but just grey. We would have sent them back but were too hungry to wait for another.

Stopped in for a feed on the way through town, who would have thought food could be that average. Fish that tasted like it had been defrosted and boiled not fried. Don't waste your time.

Very hospitable!! We were arriving in late from a long day on the road. We called the staff to put in some dinner orders, they had it in our room for when we arrived, it hit the spot and was definitely what we needed. The room was clean we had a great night sleep.

Best meals in town! Had the Sausages and mash, damn I wish I knew where to get them 😂
Dumplings and the sauce were amazing as well! Highly recommend

Comfortable rooms for a great price. Dinner in the pub was excellent. Unexpected menu items for GF, V & DF that were amazing! Super-friendly service.
