Had my birthday dinner here on Saturday. the staff were so friendly over the phone when I made the booking and were exactly the same in person. The food, cocktails and service was fantastic. Everything was above and beyond expectations.

Its an old favourite of mine. For personal reasons. No real atmosphere, haven't tried the food and the service is nothing special, kinda slow actually. But check out the disabled toilet, in the pokie room. Best part of the pub.

Great food, fast friendly service and very comfortable chairs.
Pesto pasta, Ceasar salad, garlic bread and apple crumble were yumbo. We'll be back.

Best fish n chips I've ever had, delicious!

Prompt service, meals were delicious, hot & quick, & the waitress was terrific! Apart from the dated & unusual layout of the bistro which will shortly be undergoing refurbishment, we were extremely impressed with our experience here!

Ordered fish n chips for dinner. Didn't taste very fresh. Half a handful of chips. That's just plain rude. Service could've been a little faster, it's not like the joint was packed. Meals are tiny and for the price that's ridiculous. We thought we were receiving an entree.

We decided to go out and eat ,it was getting late, around 830pm most places the kitchens were closing I called Jokers on Ryrie at 830pm asked if they were still open for dinner, which they were they advised us that the kitchen closes at 9pm .
We made our way there 840pm to our surprise we were still offered the full menu which was amazing as kitchen closes in 20min,
We appreciated the service from the young lady who took our order and waitered on our table.
The food was amazing.
W had beef sliders as an entree and steak meals with surf & turf ,crumbed lamb cutlets ,we also ordered 2 of the bread puddings, which were so good.

The vibe and atmosphere were on point, nice chilled dining in the outside area.

what we also noticed and appreciated were the No smoking and No E cigarettes in the outdoor area.

Overall, I recommend checking out Jokers on Ryrie if you're visiting Geelong.

Great meal once again after completing the festival of Sails at Geelong yacht club, plenty of ice cold beers to go around.

Only complaint with the rooms is there is no coffee making facilities. Now this is a serious situation as coffee is a vital life starter in the mornings. For $125 we would have expected that.

Really enjoyed the experience overall. Food was delicious and such good value. Service was fantastic, served quickly and food came out in respectable time. Definately dine here again.

Had a going away party at Jokers on the wknd, my daughter is going to Europe so was a big deal. Location is perfect, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff but meals were very average. Going through them:
Beef cheek risotto - pretty good
Mushroom risotto- had potential but under seasoned.
Texan Parma - very nice
Traditional Parma - average
Carbonara - nice
Calamari main - frozen, rubbery rings w chips & salad.
Fisherman's Platter - all cheap, frozen seafood on chips w salad. This was my meal and a complete let down as I paid $38 and not one single item was fresh. Would not recommend at all and unsure how you can justify such an exorbitant price! Very misleading & disappointing meal experience as family members travelled from far & wide to be there.

Garlic bread & arancini balls for entrees were the highlight.

Best Parma I have personally had for a long time my wife's veg lasagne and salad excellent and the service was exceptional .Thank you for making our night

Good Pub, awesome Parmies and extensive menu to suit any taste. The best garlic bread I have had in a while! Service was excellent and Staff were too, highly recommend.

Was there on weekend and had lunch and dinner. Meals were great and good price. All the staff very friendly and helpful . Great clean place in a great location, I be back when visiting next .

Had booked in for my daughters birthday party for about 20kids. Food was good and warm, delicious and everyone had a fantastic day. I highly recommend booking your function here. They are reliable, efficient, professional, friendly and accommodating. Thank you everyone that helped me made my daughters day. Definitely coming back. Happy customer.

Service is good, but the food is very over cooked and the fries are cool when arriving to the table.

Lovely fresh food. Nice platting. Serving of the food good. Service is good. Very relaxed environment. I ordered Nachos, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Carbonara, Pan Fried Salmon, and the desserts. It's all YUM! We'll be coming back 😉

Not bad. Nice food good price. Took nearly 1 hour for our food tho. Apart from that was good.

We hadn't been here since before covid and it used to be amazing. We got yelled at from one side of the bistro and pointed to the table, the nachos were like burnt chips with bolagnaise sauce and burnt cheese, we asked 2-3 times for sauce but it never came. Didn't eat much of it as it was very inedible. Also got a parma and it was okay though

First credit card machine was down so had to pay in the gaming room no big issues
Meals took ages to come we had a fish and chips all was good
A lamb shank with gnocchi it had 1 small lamb shank and 8 bits of gnocchi and 6 bits of pumpkin for $29 totally not worth it
We also ordered a medium porterhouse steak for $36 with chips the smallest salad I've ever seen and mushroom sauce all looked good when it finally came out ate 1/4 of it as it got from being semi cooked to completely raw inside when we took the plate up to show them they offered us more food or a free drink not a refund at all as we had to go to the movies we had to accept a free drink not a great experience and wouldn't recommend it

Charming Front of House! Bar staff was delightful. Food was fresh and inexpensive. Conveniently located....i even won on the pokies.
Definitely making Jokers a regular lunch venue

Just popped in for a drink. limited space, had to go outside, it was raining. Not alot of undercover staff were pleasant.

Great pub in central Geelong, excellent meals and the staff go out of their way to ensure you enjoy the atmosphere.

Good menu, fast service, lovely nice sized meal. Didn't like the loud disco beat music. Some softer music might see us coming back.

Stopped in for a quick drink and ended up staying 3 hours. Great value drinks and food and excellent service from friendly staff. We were there on steak night ($19) for excellent steak, chips and salad. Nice ambience and a flutter on the pokies on offer after great meal and drinks. How refreshing. .cheap drinks.. fantastic steak special cooked to perfection with terrific vegetables and salad .. Nice ambience. . Very efficient friendly staff.. no screaming kids to put up with

Food wasn't to bad, pretty standard pub meals, however 45 minute wait for a garlic & cheese bread & a kids meals is a little ridiculous! Having 5-6 tables in doesn't class as being busy!

Came for lunch on a Friday, overall it was a surprisingly good experience. Lunch specials were $10.50, I had the Guinness pie which was good. Others ordered from the standard lunch menu and were happy with their choices. The $16 porterhouse steak was a winner, not only in price but also in quality. The staff were friendly and courteous. It's definitely worth visiting.
