I've been here twice this year for dinner, the food was better the first time (schnitty / chips / salad), and the service was better.
Ambience is .. loud and feels like a food court. Cramped. Bright lights. Lotta noise from patrons even when it's quiet. Music, a tv, and the bar staff gossiping and squealing. Cannot hear the pokies at all! Maybe because of the loud bar staff...
Service this round was abrupt and clumsy.
Ordered Wednesday special (full rack of ribs) and two large glasses of wine, $92.
Drinks were brought to our table and pretty much dumped down without a word, and a similar attitude with the meals. The other staff member was much more personable.
Ribs look dry, but were actually very tasty. A salad or coleslaw on the plate would have been awesome.
I'd come for beer and pool, but don't expect to have a good time in the Bistro.
