Come in on Friday Lunch. We were those annoying customers that come in at end of service (accidentally!) Ordered the Rissoles and Steak. We were both suuuper impressed with our meals! Proper Vege and Mash, Steak cooked perfectly and super tender, and the Rissoles were sooo good! Staff were all super friendly. What an awesome place! We will definitely come back when we're back those ways!

OMG, not that busy, but had to wait for our meals, bought 2 out and they were nearly finished by the time we got the other 2, which were cold and not that appealing. Ordered dessert and same thing. Forgotten. Won\'t be back and won\'t recommend.

Went to this venue for mother\'s Day dinner, had the advertised 2 course roast, the roast lamb had been kept warm from the lunch sitting, and served on a bowl, when it came to desert they had run out of the chocolate mousse, and couldn\'t supply anything else advertised on the dessert menu, so were offered a Dixie cup.
And we weren\'t the only ones dissatisfied with the meal and service, spoke to some of the local people also out for mother\'s Day and their experience was the same as ours.
Definitely stay away from here if you\'re after a nice dining experience.

We had lunch there. For the price they charge, $77, I expected more on our plates. My rump was tiny, and the potatoes with sour cream were not good; no salad either. My partner got a parmi with a seafood topper, for which he was charged $15. The parmi was very small and dry, and the topper was not that good for the price they charged! Very disappointed with our meal, we won\'t be coming back. We will be going to Airlie Beach next time. 1 out of 10 !!!

Unpretentious great country pub. Family of 6 adults, 4 kids Xmas Eve. Menu was really extensive! The kid\'s meals were so good! Generous and all 4 pretty much cleaned their plates. Adults also really impressed. I had chicken schnitzel with surf \'n turf topper - the crumb was really good. Staff were very efficient and friendly. As a Xmas holiday promotion kid\'s ate free - this included a drink and ice cream. We were not expecting that. Parking out the back or on the street. We\'ll be back
