Had both dinner and breakfast here and it was great for both meals! This is a gem of a pub with so many different areas to enjoy. The outdoor covered patio is beautiful and 🐾 friendly too. Definitely worth a visit 😁

Popped in for lunch 5/1/25 And whilst the food was quite good .. The wait times was beyond a joke .. Order oysters for entree .. And our meals.. Waited for 1 hour for our meal to arrive.. Asked when meals arrived where our oysters where..Was told will be out soon .. After finishing our meals the oysters took another 30 minutes to arrive .. Guess they where dessert not entree .. Also on arrival there where a lot of empty tables just left in mess .. So was not a lot of tables left to sit . Was not greeted at the door at all and had to ask where we where allowed to sit .. Then was told anywhere.. That's fine but would have been nice to be informed of that ..

Went there for a pub meal. What a cool pub! Has everything you could think of - even retro buck hunt. Great food, drinks and service. Not suitable for toddlers as there are no secure areas to let them play.

The check in service was great, but the room was a let down. Small TV, bed requires updating and a small shower. The walls are pretty thin, because you can hear your neighbour talking. The view wasn't to bad and it's a small walk to a local for a refreshing drink. Stay safe travellers!

I went yesterday afternoon for lunch, and we ordered at 12:55pm, it was reasonably busy but many empty tables in the section we sat. It was after an hour wait for our food we asked where it was, being told we are very busy today and it shouldn't be too long. We were not informed when ordering and paying first there was a long wait. After another 45 minutes, total 1 hour and 45 min wait we got our food. I was going for lunch, not an early dinner. When we did, both of us that had the schnitzel had such a small amount of chips we made a point of asking for more. The food was good, but not worth such a long wait. Not once did anyone offer us a free drink, some complimentary garlic bread or anything. This was such poor service, I will definitely be hesitating to go back. It's a shame it's being so poorly run. Management and the board need to step up as you are letting your community down.
