We go to the Hoppers Club every Sunday for the roast as there is only the two of us now.
The staff are great but the food has been on a decline lately.
Last week the lamb was not all the best and the bread rolls had soggy wet bits on them.
This week the beef was tough, the pork crackling was that hard we could not chew it which was disappointing as we love our pork crackling and they usually do a good crackle.
The apple crumble with custard tasted like it had been burnt this was the 1st time this was not enjoyable to eat.
I'm not sure what's going on but the last few weeks have been really disappointing will have to look around the area and see who else provides a Sunday roast, maybe the new Club Tarneit due to open next month.

Really great spot! Servers are all friendly & the meals are great quality for what you pay. Compared to some of the other sporting clubs around Hoppers this place is worth its weight in gold.

Haven't been here for many years, maybe 10 years. I knew it had undergone a make over years ago but I'd not seen it until the other day. It looks much nicer than it was.

Our food came out really fast, which was a surprise considering we ordered steak and ribs.
Are they partially pre-cooked? I've worked in hospitality many years and I've never known pre-cooked steaks to be a thing. Or come out that fast.

The kids meals came out right away, which was great, we didn't even ask for that. Love a place that knows you should just pump out any kids orders asap.

I don't think it was value for money. I don't like that it's not table service.

Although it's had a make over, it's still lacking a bit.

I wouldn't rush back here, I'd rate other pub type meal places above this one over all.

Staff could have been more observant when a disabled gent needed to use bathroom. Others dining with him walked around looking for appropriate facility. Only when I got the attention of a staff member was he shown ???".

Money is super tight this year and we were facing a sad Christmas after we decided to miss the big meal . Luckily I found the Christmas Eve lunch at the Hoppers. Price was great and we had a fantastic buffet Christmas lunch with all the trimmings including prawns and roast pork. More than that the staff were absolutely lovely and made it a really special lunch. Thank you so much .... this is our first time and we will be returning for a meal again in the new year!

Great food at the Carvery, simple homecooked styled food. Not a large range of food, but what was there was well done and tasty. Staff so helpful. Such good value for money.

We had our farewell dinner on Anzac day and loved the food and service. we will definetly be back and thanks for taking our booking without making a fuss as it was falling on a public holiday. Friendly staff and good value for money.

Great hospitality from staff. And the chef is so good as he understands what we wanted and delivered great quality and tasty food.

Popped down to the Hoppers Club for dinner with my partner over the weekend - staff were lovely, portion sizes were huge (kinda felt bad for the staff - we ordered four sides between the two of us and that was a little too much!).

My girlfriend was particularly pleased that they had Billson's alcoholic beverages and vegetarian options - and I was happy that I could see the sports bar from the bistro. :)

If you're looking for a good spot to have dinner and don't want to deal with the crowds at Pacific Werribee, it's a good spot to dine out.

Hi ,my Husband and I had lunch there today ,and we were very impressed our meal was very nice we had the Mexican Parma . The ladies that brought our meal to our table were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back ,so thank you !

While the meals were OK, there really wasn't much when you compare other it with other similar priced venues in the Wyndham area. Definitely wouldn't go back in a hurry through choice

Nice atmosphere, fast service. I ordered Scotch Steak, found it very fatty and grisly, and chewy, considering price expected better cut of meat. I ordered well done, which is was def in appearance....charcoal on the outside but still bloody in parts in the middle. Hubby ordered the ribs and enjoyed them. Another on our table had the fish and chips and said the fish was very dry and overcooked. They looked like fish you buy in the freezer at the supermarket. Def not fresh fish.
Garlic bread, was full of flavour, but could have been toasted just a little longer to give it crunch.
Overall, not the worse meal I have ever had. Possibly the quick service time meant the food cooking was rushed. Hence the steak being burnt on out side and still bloody, the fish dried out and the garlic bread being half cooked.

Revisited New Years eve and decided to give the Beer Battered Fish a try for myself. It was horrible. No flavour, was like eating a piece of cardboard.(not sure how anyone can stuff up a simple meal) would not recommend at all, left 2nd piece untouched and chips were overcooked and dry. Hubby had the Buttered Chicken and said it was absolutely delicious.
Again cheesy garlic bread could have been cooked more but still tasted good despite.
Will go back for a third time eventually and try one last time with a different menu option. Disappointed as Steak and Fish and chips are my 2 favourite meals, and probably the most bought of any pub meals.
As for the place itself. Staff are very friendly, it has a lovely atmosphere. Huge games room with free soft drink and coffee for gaming patrons.
Overall a good place, despite food disappointment.

15 of us had Lunch, No delay or problems in meals ordered. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere, kid friendly. Great prices.

We used to go here at least weekly and would have family functions. We felt the meals had declined but gave them a second chance with a family function, out of the 7 adults, 1 had a meal that was nice. The meals have really deteriorated. The serving staff were good, but the food wasn't. We won't go back.

No fresh ingredients especially the fish and all over cooked and dry especially for $33.

The hoppers club was one of our favorite places to eat out at. Until we went there and the Parma was raw not just under cooked it was it was completely raw and still cold they took our number to check on us the next day but never heard from them again. Then friends went there last week and this also happened to there meal the exact thing and they never chalked them either. It's safe to say I will never return to the hoppers club again.

I just want to thank the staff who tended to the birthday party on Saturday night 22nd of January. The food was fantastic 😋 and the bar staff were fun and served responsibly. I hope you enjoyed some cake and I can't wait to do another function there. You made my job as organiser/host, so much easier.. 10/10 on a job well done ??'?

Would be happy if the club brings back its traditional happy hours, raffle draws and member draws activities.

Attended my sister-in-law's birthday dinner and had this steak. It was a Wednesday (Steak offer day) so instead of paying for it at around $30+, only got it for $26. It was very filling and the gravy that I got mixes with it so well.

All the finger food put on each table was great! Lots of food and quality was good too. Nice new room too.
Only downfall, the speaker above the dance floor doesn't work properly, and there's no baby change rooms.

Staff are absolutely ideal; friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Facilities are clean and easily accessible. Will be trying the bistro next visit !

The Tuesday and recent recent addition of the Sunday carvery is always great value.Offering all you can eat for $21 (members). Bargain!Here you can begin with the tasty soup of the day accompanied by mini crispy bread rolls. The creamy mushroom and the pea and ham soups are my personal favourites.Then you are treated to a selection of juicy roast meats and the variety of vegetables on offer is more than adequate. Served personally by the head chef who is always friendly. The dessert too is varied and is popular with children and adults alike.The club also offers all the usual features of a bar. With pool tables, bar, TAB and Pokies.There is ample parking and the car park is well lit and has full security camera coverage.Overall great family atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and clean well kept facilities, 9/10

Great place, heaps to do, only disappointment was the bowling green is separate to the rest of the place, no access from greens to inside without having to go all the way round the front

The staff are extremely friendly and most helpful there only concern is the customers are happy and enjoy their visit. My husband and I look forward to going back as we enjoyed our experience we became members. Thanks to all the staff keep up the great work.
