Recently stayed at the reef view hotel for 7 nights. The stay was very nice and comfortable. The view from your hotel room is absolutely magnificent especially if you are on upper levels. They also have a lot of pools and direct access to the beach. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Very spacious rooms with great amenities. We were just a couple but were given a 1st floor room which had two double beds. Very surprised to find a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, stocked minibar fridge and ironing board. The bathrooms are stunning. I've stayed in smaller hotel rooms than the bathroom alone!

Balcony was large and had two really comfy seats. The view isn't fantastic from the 1st floor (blocked by trees and the pool terrace) but it didn't matter much to us. If you want to see the view, it's a 2 minute walk to the water from the hotel.

TV has a good range of channels for when you've had enough sun. Breakfast service was chaotic being a family hotel with children running everywhere but easy to find a seat and the food choice and quality was very good.

Great hotel with great service. We stayed for 4 nights on our honeymoon and were greeted by a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates when we arrived. Room was clean (and had daily maid service) and had an incredible view. The cockatoos are a wild add to the experience as they will land on your balcony at any moment. We loved how easy it was to get around the island (both by foot and bus) from this location and how organized the staff was with their checkin/checkout routines. Also having accessible laundry machines on every other floor was highly convenient.

Arrived to find out there would be repair crews drilling and banging on the walls every day, something that should've been disclosed before booking. There's no staff at night except if you're willing to wait 20 minutes on the phone and then speak to someone who can't help you. Rooms are immaculate and well kept by the lovely staff. Cockatoos run the balconies and will keep you entertained if that's your kind of thing. They tend to be very noisy in the daytime, but are very quiet during the night when they fly away. The pools are well kept and the restaurant serves a very decent meal. The beach is a few steps away and full of activities and a well kept beach. The TV wasn't working for three days and we kept being told that it would be fixed. It finally worked on our last day when we were not in the room at all so that was a waste of time.

We had a great time here. Hamilton island is beautiful. The hotel is comfortable and the view from our room was stunning. It's fun having the wild wallabies all over the place. We appreciated the simple airport pick up and drop off. Would stay here again. We were shocked by how big the hotel is on such a small island.
