Great pub renovated beautifully. Staff are friendly atmosphere is great. Looking forward to see stage 2 of the renovations done.

Best owner, best service around! Even chucked the AFL on for us beside the NRL. Made our stay memorable. Can\'t wait to be back!

We stopped at the Halifax hotel on our way up to Cairns and had a few beers at the pub. The staff were so lovely they let us stay the night in their garden/van area. We slept well, recharged, and left feeling ready for the road again. Such a gem of a stop, thank you so much!

My five sisters and I had a lovely afternoon playing Keno and having a few drinks. Staff were lovely and locals were nice. Five of us were tourists and would recommend the Halifax hotel. Will be back in the next couple of months and hope to see the renovations finished.

Stayed out the back of the hotel in my motorhome their opening weekend after flood renovations. Free camping with toilets for patrons. A top pub with a really hospitable publican. Beautifully renovated. Kitchen, dining and beer garden opening next.
