The good thing about The Grovie is that even though if you\'re not drinking, there\'s plenty to do and enjoy.

Last night, for example, I came to the Open Mic Night. First Thursday of the month. Free. I had a raspberry, pint. $9.

You can eat and play the pokies, watch sports on the TVs.

Staff are on to it. They all seemed happy and at ease; I like that because it says they like their job and are provided good management.

Ambient is very nice, price is dearer than other hotels but a good plc to meet.
Service is really bad, food was slammed on to the table leaving guests to fight for the served.
Large mugs cappuccino served in regular cups and some beverage was forgotten. Very badly organised.
Perhaps its good to put a name to different orders for large group to avoid confusion.

Had a lovely time bringing the family here for dinner. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious, and having the dedicated play area for the kids was such a lifesaver for a relaxed evening. The service from the staff was exceptional, super friendly, warm and very attentive. While the food was decent and enjoyable, the fantastic atmosphere and wonderful team are what truly make this place worth visiting!

Good friendly table service, pay at the till. The duck and barramundi were nice. The calamari and parmigiana very disappointing. Came back again we had the seniors menu. Ordered the chicken schnitzel and fish and chips. The gravy and mushroom sauce were disgusting. I was told there were french chefs in the kitchen, what a joke. Coleslaw was good that's about it.

We've recently booked for a table for 2 for lunch at the Pioneer Kitchen. This part of the Grovedale is quieter as it is far from the machines. It is more civilized, relaxed and quiet.

We ordered the Parma and the pork belly. Parma was paired with chips and salad and the pork belly was paired with salad.

The pork belly was so delicious and so crispy and the salad, spicy sweet was perfect team! They were perfectly seasoned and of generous servings.

The drinks menu is also varied and offers plenty of choices.

Our dessert, choc mouse and Prosecco Sabayon were so delicious. So delicate and well presented.

Staffs were great and helpful, the venue was clean, parking is so easy!

Wheelchair and pram friendly. Will def come back!
