I really liked the food, very big portion. I ordered the crumb steak and we also got a cheesy garlic bread. Food came out extremely quickly.

Good restaurant to have tea good price if you want good BBQ ribs you should go get some they are so good the meat just falls of the born

Comfortable bed, hot showers, but noisy from traffic and unclean kitchen without utensils. Loud intermittent beeping from low beeping fire alarm- informed staff of problem but it was not resolved and struggled to sleep

Room review,
it's probably the cheapest accommodation in the town so I wasn't expecting miracles but this was really bad. Dirt dirt and dirt again,
dirty bedding, stains and lots of mess on the carpet, layers of dust everywhere, cobwebs and the room smelled a lot.

Nice old Pub, friendly service, great food.

I recently stayed upstairs for a few nights, the room had no remotes for tv or ac which was noisy and the fan was worse. Normally you get a jug of water in fridge, but nothing! The pillows on my bed needed replacing and no protectors on them. When people had a shower as we had shared bathroom, the pipes were so noisy, $81 a night I expected better accommodation. The shared kitchen was dirty as all the back area was. I ate in the restaurant the first night and didn't go back, I have heard They do nice food! Just looking at the presentation of my meal, said a different story.
I will find other accommodation in the future!

Amazing food. My partner ordered the Hawaiian pizza which he said tasted amazing, it was just the right amount of toppings. I ordered the chicken parmy with chips and salad which was amazing the chicken parmy was massive and the taste was great, The flavours all worked together. Definitely will be back.

The Goondi has an air-conditioned, carpeted and quiet dining room. The meals are very nice if not delicious and are so reasonably priced. The staff are welcoming and the ambience is pleasant. I like the Goondi because I know I'll always enjoy my meal.

Old school pub in the heart of town, great meals, cold beer and excellent service. When in Innisfail check out the Goondi.

Cheap option to stay at Goondi Hill so we didn't expect the best but this was worse than what we hoped for. Entrance to the hotel rooms littered with cobwebs and a few dozen spiders. 6 AC's squeeking in the hall with nothing but a small wooden door to keep the noise out. The room itself was not clean, alot of stains and even more dust bundles. Hair on the carpet, inside the fridge. The bed is worn, you can feel all the metal spirals, like another lady mentioned a topper would make a world of difference. The public kitchen is not allowed to keep that name with about half the appliances broken (no microwave worked even though two were there).
Shared bathrooms were dirty and stacked about 10 used soapbars. Toilet is worn and dirty, no flytrap on the open window. No toilet paper. I could go on.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpfull when we asked for a second towel since only one was supplied.

Free camped out the back, great pub but the road and train noise were a bit much.

We were attending a friend's 75th birthday at the Goondi Hotel, and all was great, the food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Quiet Saturday afternoon in this country pub on the outskirts of Innisfail. A few punters watching the races in the big public bar. Well set up for busy nights. Pool table & juke box. Good friendly service.

A playground outside for children at rear being under cover so families can dine to separate... to help keep quiet spot for others.

Clean enough, a bit noisy but that's not surprising. Price was suitable. Bed was hard, maybe a new mattress or topper would be good. Suited me for the occasion.

So, a week ago now (Sun, 21 Aug 22) for the first time I was getting a meal to take away, which the order was for 2 adults meals & 1 kids meal.

We got: Crumed Steak with a Prawn topper, Chips & Salad & a Mushroom sauce, Chicken Parmigiano with chips & Salad & a kids Fish & Chips.

Was very disappointed when got home and opened the meals to find they had forgot the prawn topper because they are delicious 🤤(also they are $8.50 😬 so bit unhappy about that aspect too)

Guess I will just have to check in the boxes in the future.

Camped out the back, had a few beers and a great meal, crumb steak was great and big. Wife had pizza. Great too.! Didn't finish it...

What a hidden treasure to visit travelling through Innisfail. Linda behind the bar is a delight! Friendly and helpful, she asked chef who prepared a delicious gluten free meal and my husband's Corn Beef lunch special was tasty. Definitely be back on way back through. Old school pub meal and chilly beer 🍻

I am the fussiest person ( food critic ) you will ever come across - I just slowly ( I didn't want it to end ) devoured the most superb pub meal I've had in at least 15-20 years! Chicken Kiev to die for, warm creamy garlic sauce - the Chips OHHHH THE CHIPS 🤤 I have not tasted real creamy potato chips like that for YEEEEEEARS - I forgot what real potato chips tasted like until I had these chips, I legit asked the waitress if the Chef grew the potatoes himself..lol They are soooooo good!!! Real happy and friendly staff too, especially the lady who just moved here from Mount Isa, she went above and beyond to get me a nice Barossa Valley Chardy to have with my meal, I WILL BE BACK & soon I will be a regular the prices are great too!

This is a really great bottle shop with a great range of products and specials, the drive through staff were efficient and friendly. I was surprised that things were cheaper than the other bottle shops in town and delivered to my car. I will be coming here again for sure and highly recommend it to others.

My partner and I came into the establishment requesting a financial receipt of our gaming win as per our right from section 5.2A of the Queensland responsible gaming manual we have the right to ask and receive a financial statement at the cashier if requested. We were rudely sent off by Gale Simpson whom provided us with incorrect information asking for a court order which isn't needed at all for what we requested. I will be returning with a letter from my solicitor even though we don't need one and if it comes to it we will be back with a court order in order to receive what we deserve as CUSTOMERS to your establishment.
