Went for dinner and had a pork roast new owners have renovated inside. After a long drive a scotch and meal were very welcome. We stayed in free camp next door.

The Barmaid working in the Sports Bar (Debbie) was absolutely amazing. She never stopped. The customers never had to wait or she would acknowledge you. If she wasn't serving she would clean everything and anything. It reminded me of barmaids in the 80's and 90's, but not that she's old. A real pleasure to drink there and a nice change from the modern era where service comes after texting

OMG - the Sunday special roast for $16.50 and the barramundi special for the same price. Have to say the roast pork would count in my top 3 ever and husband said the fish and chips were delicious too.

We had, without doubt, the best chicken parmy we have ever had We selected the garlic prawn parmy from their "Parmy Army" menu. The service is prompt and friendly. The menu is well priced and the wines are good. You really can't lose.

This hotel looks fabulous after the renovations were done. The place just looks amazing. The staff are always wonderful and well mannered all round and the service is great both at the bar and the kitchen. The meals must be the most expensive in town though so its not the cheapest hotel to eat at. Paid over $60 for 2 people which I think was ridiculous, its bad enough we have to pay out the nose to have a good time and drink some alcohol. Prices for the food definitely need reviewing as the prices keep me from continuing to visit your hotel.

Food is fantastic. Staff are always welcoming and easy going. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

Had dinner last night. We ordered the advertised Pork Chop which was great. Unfortunately my friend had Crumbled Steak which was they tough she couldn't cut it. Rang to inform rather abruptly told they couldn't do anything. Goodbye Crown

Positives: Food is great, Michelle and the gentleman (forgot his name sorry) in the kitchen are fantastic. They ensure my meals are safe for me as I have food allergies that I make them aware of. And they taste awesome.

We don't come all the time as we don't live in the area, but we make sure we support this business as they do a great job in the kitchen.

Only negative thing I'll mention, which I did mention in store and the duty manage took it on with full understanding, but i mention it because it's important, is: The young wait staff though require more training, and need to learn to listen, please understand the importance of getting it right when it comes to serving food to someone with food allergies. Also made us sit and wait for another 15 minutes before I had to go up and ask for our takeaway meal, again after already asking for it when the girl cleared the table, that was sitting on the pass for an extended period of time, so no need for us to wait.

Purely based on the quality of food, had the lemon myrtle chicken breast, well if that was a chicken breast it was divided into 3 portions, it was as dry as a bone, it was cold and basically inedible. The waitress staff asked me how was the meal? Provided her with my feedback with most of the food on my plate and she kindly offered me a drink? Won't be going back there for a meal.

Visit The Crown Hotel for dinner with friends visiting from interstate. Service was terrific, staff very friendly and helpful. Our meals were well presented and fresh. Our friends have special dietary requirements and staff above and beyond to ensure their needs were met. Would definitely recommend for dining out. Great location, clean and has very friendly staff.

I'm leaving this review based of the quality of food and nothing else.

It was disgusting, I had a home made beef burger that was stone cold and filled with bits of fat that were inedible. The taste was greasy too. They did replace my burger with another but I took one bite and it was just as fatty as the first. I soon left leaving the food on the table.

Will not be going back anytime soon.

My wife, her sister & I dropped in for a quick meal just before serving finished for lunch. The bar staff & bistro staff were fabulous. Attentive, engaging & professional. The barramundi was super moist & tasty. The beer batter was super thin & crispy. Congratulations team on creating a great experience Thank You!

We didn't stay at the crown. We dropped in for lunch and ad with all Star Liquor hotels the meal was good. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good. The hotel has been renovated and is well appointed.

Had dinner here and watched the state of origin. Dining area was nicer then I expected.

My friends and I came for dinner at The Crown Hotel and I was so pleased with the service. Zayn provided us a wonderful meal and delivered not only great service but had awesome manners and we will be coming back 100% The crispy salmon was so so so good, props to the chef!! First time coming here. Weren't greeted by anyone when first walked in so didn't know exactly where our table was that we had reserved, so just had to find it. Ordered our food and waited 30mins but that's okay because there was a lot of people. Food was delicious.

The ribs where the worst I have ever had but the staff where amazing at getting me a replacement meal. Had the hangover schnitzel and that was excellent. Would have been a 5 star review otherwise

The place was 75% full, and we waited about 10 minutes for the best steak sandwich I have had in a long time. The staff were friendly and busy. I will be back.

Had lunch in the dining room - hands down best parmigiana - The Hangover. Super impressed by the service and the food quality. Am totally keen to go back and work my way through the menu now!?

Pub looks nicely renovated.

Ordered the cauliflower as starter got 3 florets and the rest was batter.
Steak and chips were cold as main and the salad consisted of red and green cabbage with carrot and 3 peices of mesclun. Prices were fair but wasn't overly impressed with being served a meal cold.

We dined at the Crown Hotel Innisfail on a Friday evening and we don't often think to thank the staff enough that work very hard at clubs and restaurants as waitresses/ bar attendants.
We would like to commend how great the service was, particularly Casey, Sharnee and Taiha who are all an asset to the establishment.
They were very accommodating as it was very busy and all were very welcoming, attentive, kind and caring and extremely polite.
They make the Crown very friendly and you feel comfortable being there.
The food was excellent and a good size meal.
It definitely makes it an easy choice to return.

Such a great place to come for really good solid pub food. The serves are really large!! We shared a Parma and had side serve of salad and little add on on calamari and ribs. Very tasty and enough for 2 people. Lovely young enthusiastic staff, especially Casey, who was attentive.

Great experience. Well priced meals and drink. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Casey who looked after our meals was sensational. If you want to experience true country hospitality and meet staff that will actually speak with you and not grunt at you this is the place to go.

What a great place to have dinner. The meals are huge, the staff are friendly and helpful, the dining area was beautiful and clean and even the toilet area was lovely and clean. The menu had a great variety to suit everyone including the kids menu and to top it off the kids get a free drink and ice cream. Will be a regular customer from now on

Went there for dinner with the family tonight. The dining room was beautiful, the service was spectacular. The food was delicious and huge portions. There was no fuss about getting takeaway containers to take what we couldn't eat home. Overall all it was a great night out

I want to especially mention one waitress Sharlene who was amazing and put a smile on all our faces.

We tried the lunch special of rump steak, chips and salad with creamy garlic sauce and added garlic prawn toppers. Absolutely scrumptious and very reasonably priced. Importantly, the steak was cooked to our liking. Since undergoing renovations, The Crown has a pleasant atmosphere and being air-conditioned is a huge plus.

Not a bad feed at all.
I like the new decor, it's quite pleasant, though it may get a bit noisy and hard to hold a conversation when the place is full. (Lots of reverberation from hard surfaces on the walls an ceilings)
Food quality was good, we enjoyed our meals and there was plenty on the plates.
We'll be back!

Beautiful newly renovated establishment. Welcoming environment. Friendly staff both Bar & Food area. Fresh beer. Big space with a variety of chairs & lounge sitting areas to choose from. Food did take nearly a full hour to get to table at lunch but it was a delightful rump with an amazing loaded potatoe & fresh salad. Good carpark space. Renovations have certainly spoken for it self. Well done for creating an inviting hotel as you come first into town. Recommended highly to friends & family.

You will have plenty of time to look at the refurbishment while you wait for your meals! Everyone said their food was good and the restaurant makeover is fantastic, however we waited over an hour for lunch and it wasn't busy. There was no chicken parmigiana left, only 1 vegetarian option on the menu and the kids meals came 15 minutes before the rest.

Nice food, good service and fair prices our order just took a bit long to come out, however we would go there again.

Food was good however the woman at bar/bistro was very rude to myself and other patrons. Very sad watch this woman speak so rude to indigenous people like they were in primary school and then watch her change her tune when non indigenous patrons came to her for assistance. Unreal honestly.
My husband is non indigenous and had told me when he and a few mates went there a couple of weeks ago a woman who he had encountered let him do whatever he wanted and he noticed she was chasing around the indigenous patrons treating them like they'd done something wrong.
My sister asked for a complaint form and was ignored as the young lady behind the bar had to serve the young non indigenous ladies first who just walked in after her.
Won't be going to this establishment again that's for sure.

Very Strick, the lady drive us out at gaming room she's very rude. Even we standing for little while waiting for my friend and sister to finish there games. Not to come back there anymore

The lamb dish was beautiful. The chicken schnitzel was sadly very tough and tasted like fish.

Our family of 7 stopped in here for lunch, it was quiet with very few patrons, however from the outset the woman behind the bar was flustered, rude & was annoyed to be serving us. After waiting 25minutes all meals arrived sporadically except for my steak & loaded potato. I brought it to the attention of the staff member serving out the meals who huffed away without a reply. Another 25minutes later, no steak in sight, I went to the bar to cancel my meal & the first rude staff member told me to wait a minute while she checked where it was. Within seconds she brought out my meal which was cold, the steak chewy & the loaded potato was so overcooked it had shrunk to the size of a golf ball! The only thing that was close to warm on the plate was the measly side salad which looked 2 days old. You could not pay me to return & eat at this establishment.
