The food was quite pricey, my granddaughters hamburger had blood coming out of the mince so raw, the food we had my steak was cold and greasy it was a $53 meal and my daughter and grandson had the same meal and the half a bug was

I would not ever recommend to eat at the crown
The general manager was nice
The waitress Kristie was absolutely great nice to see that there are still good waitresses around

Tonight we dined at the Crown hotel Innisfail. The experience was very underwhelming. It's not the first time we've left this establishment feeling this way.
The downhill slope began with a piña colada served in a martini glass and ended with a 55-minute wait for a rare sirloin steak that arrived cold and chewy (photos attached).
Unfortunately, this has happened before - under different circumstances, but nonetheless with the same outcome.
I wouldn't recommend the Crown hotel Innisfail for small or large groups, as we have experienced confusion, repeated apologies from waitstaff and bar staff, and missed meals when dining in groups of these sizes.

Ordered pork belly with red wine jus, when I received my meal it looked good but there was no jus it was gravy. Took it back to the bistro and the chef confidently said that it was just not gravy, but didn't even come out and have a look.
Gravy is thickened with a starch (flour or cornstarch) to create a thicker, opaque sauce. Jus is a thinner, clearer, and more concentrated sauce produced by reducing the pan juices alone.
The meal itself was nice tho. This is why there is 2 stars on review.

Beautifully clean restaurant area. Great, friendly service. Loved our beers and delicious meals... honey soy chicken salad and barra&chips. Great value!

Courtney went absolutely above and beyond for my niece's christening. She was warm, organised, and attentive to every detail on the day. She even went out of her way to ensure all the food was completely safe for both myself and my brother, who are coeliac, double-checking ingredients and keeping everything carefully separated. That level of care meant so much.

One of the loveliest touches was the little party umbrellas she brought for the kids, they were obsessed! It made them feel special and added such a fun, thoughtful element to the day.

The setup looked stunning and we had so many compliments from our guests. We're truly grateful for everything Courtney did to make the day so memorable.

Could not recommend her more, she truly goes the extra mile
