Drove off the highway and was pleasantly surprised with the food. Had a 1/2 size fish and chips which was plenty big enough. Came with yummy chips, a green salad (fresh) as well as a pasta salad.

I was looking for a place Dog friendly, the Golden Grain was perfect, staff chilaxed, great prices, room clean and comfortable. Food amazing!

Great roadside pub, friendly staff and tasty food at decent prices. Cool beer garden setup out the front as well with fire pits.

Walked in last minute to see if they had any accommodation. Got a nice little room for myself great pice to. Came down to the bar for a meal. Food was really nice, bar prices were good for the location and bar staff were friendly to chat to. The locals were great to chat to. would definitely recommend staying if you're passing by.
