The only warning we got was it was gonna take an hour for our food, so we thought "ah yeh" we order and then it'll be an hour or so, No not only did your staff BELIEVE we were already waiting for our orders after ordering drinks but we were about to leave before food was even THOUGHT to be ordered, and another thing one of the waitresses told us to shoo her down, however I find that extremely rude and it's not my fault that your staff believed that was our fault

Update: we got there at 6:30pm waited till 7:30pm for drinks or so, 7:50pm FOR ENTRIES! And then 8:00pm, NOT EVEN A BITE of the chicken and something tasted WRONG! it tasted uncooked because it was, explain to your staff and your cook that just because it LOOKS cooked doesn't mean it WAS cooked, as it was SLIGHTLY pink. It tasted like it just came out of a freezer and the fact that it came out 15 minutes after we ordered. And that's not excusing the fact that we had to pay for that because what you were told was the truth and you weren't going to believe us despite what we described to you. We will not be coming back here

We had lunch here on the 16th of March. The staff were friendly and very professional, great table service and a nice atmosphere to enjoy our lunch.
The food was top quality and the meals were well presented. If you want quality food, great service and a nice setting this is the place to go. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Gladstone Park hotel for making our lunch a very special one, we will definitely be back.

We attended a private function over the weekend, and it was honestly so good, I couldn't fault it. The staff were fantastic! They were super friendly, especially with the children, and knew what they were serving when it came to the food.

The food was also really good, we got served a wide variety of finger food which can sometimes be cheap and nasty but not in this case. There was also a good amount, I don't think anyone went home hungry as there was food left over around the room.

The venue itself, I only saw the function room we were in. It was nice, clean and pretty modern. It has a roof that opened up so when the sun got too much they closed the roof. It was great. The toilets were also clean.

I'm keen to go back and have dinner with the family.

Have had many dinners and lunches as well as booking a large part of the beer garden for a birthday celebration.

Hubby and I both had seniors meals. Roast lamb and parma chips and salad. Hubby had two light beers and i had a lemon squash. Total bill was $51. Good value. The meals were very nice and the size of the meals were perfect. Not too small like a lot of seniors meals are. We were there for Sat. lunch and it was lovely and quiet inside. It was full waiter service and Stacey our waitress did very well. She was professional and friendly. The beer garden apparently gets very busy.. The only down side was the ladies toilet block that could do with a spruce up with toilet paper on the floor and two toilets i entered were not flushed. Maybe with a check up occasionally this could be avoided. Overall it was well worth the visit.

Been here a couple times now for dinner and the food and service has been fantastic! The staff are very customer driven and the food is divine. So refreshing to see such great customer service!

I didn't go to the hotel but the restaurant had a really nice cosy vibe, the food came out quickly and it was delicious! We didn't have the friendliest customer service but overall it was good.

Another cold shower!! Do something about your water!! $130 a night to be moved to another room because no hot water then hardy any hot water! Not good enough & not the first time this has happened!

Will never be back. No hot water in x2 rooms room had a horrible smell in x2 rooms, mattress should have been thrown out 5 years ago , pubic hair all over the toilet seat lid ( folded down) and toilet unit. Left my details for payment to be deducted while we were out for the day but still got x3 phone calls from x3 diffrent staff memebers wanting to know when we will be back to pay and to top it off staff arguing infront of myself and other public for approximately 10min management couldn't care less on the day .

Great food served in the garden bar with huge choice of beers on tap, spirits and wines. Service was awesome too. Great tunes in the garden bar on a Friday night and live sports on the screens. Really enjoyed ourselves there!

This place is a gem. The tiger prawn and chilli risotto was next level and my partner's burger was great too. The service was really great, the staff are professional and seem to really like what they do. I was very impressed

A nice place to eat out with friends, family and colleagues. They have vegan and vegetarian options as well which was a cherry on cake. Overall had a good experience there and would definitely visit again

I have stayed here twice and won't be back. Make sure you bring your own coffee and teabags and don't expect room servicing or fresh towels. I did however find someone's feral sock underneath the foot of my bed the first time and this time it was a dog biscuit! I'm also amazed that in this day and age they do not offer Wi-fi. They have been understaffed during both stays and I had to chase someone down in the pokie area to check in.
The first stay was unremarkable but this time has been very disappointing. I stayed for three nights for a local sporting event. I ordered a meal in the restaurant - they brought out the incorrect dish and instead of being apologetic the young waiter accused me of ordering the wrong thing - mate, I don't eat the food the brought out why would I order it? (the girl behind the bar had obviously made an error). He was patronising and argumentative and I was made to feel like a fool. Customer service is not hard, just be respectful.
Our group of 8 women (who were also staying in the hotel for the second time and had spent $$$ on food and drInks) played a board game in the bar as the rooms are tiny. We had to move to another area within the venue after that bar closed (not before they sold us bottles of wine 10 minutes before closing and then told us we couldn't take them out of the bar 🙄). We continued our game at a different bar and were laughing (that's right, LAUGHING) and chatting when a barman named Ali rudely told us "you are being too noisy, people playing the pokies are paying customers and are here for peace and quiet" (he was quite aggressive and seemed to be on some sort of power trip). What the? Has he heard the noise that comes out of a poker machine? How dare we make noise in a public bar and interrupt your efforts to strip people of their money via gambling? It's not a meditation retreat, it's a bar!
When my friend pointed out that we too are paying customers she was referred to as a 'smart arse' by one of the staff.
This place would do well to remember they service a diverse group of patrons and if they want return business they need to cater to all not just the people funnelling their hard earned cash into the pokies. Needless to say we had to leave the bar and return to our rooms.
Very obvious what this place values and my friends I won't be back and won't be recommending to any of the other players who also attend nearby events. Word of mouth can have significant influence in a sporting community. There are much better options nearby (Quality Inn was terrific for accommodation, lots of other great eateries) especially considering they hiked the price per night up by $45 within the 4 weeks between stays.

Haven't been here for quite a while and was pleasantly surprised with its look, and its meals. Highly recommend for a bistro or counter meal or just a few quiet ones and a catch up

Went there for dinner. It has far improved on what it was a couple of years ago. The food is much better with generous proportions and price is more reasonable than other places. The cooks prepare great meals now.

Yesterday,Wed 26th, I attended a fairwell lunch with 20 others of our Tai Chi group in the lounge. Most ordered the seniors menu. I ordered the seafood basket. I can only describe it as "disgusting". Crumbed, overcooked calimari, rock hard prawn skewer, and the mussels, I was looking forward to, were only slightly opened and adhered to their shells so I had to scrape them out. Served luke-warm. A chef wouldn't have the lack of pride in him/herself, so saying as a long time cook myself, to send such a meal to the table. So who "cooked it I wonder? A kitchen hand??? I made no fuss so as not to embarrass my companions. But on our next lunches I will be lobbying them to go elsewhere.

Food was good, fresh and not using premade fake stuff. Sometimes noisy. The staff took our orders correctly ..and even reread our orders correctly, but 1 of the 5 dishes came out incorrectly. It's been done up the place.. good for a casual feed.

Pleasantly surprised...needing a night to sleep close to the Airport before a very early flight, we weren't sure what to expect!!!
Staff brilliant, garden gin bar amazing, brilliant selection, and dinner in the restaurant lovely. Staff were all pleasant and accommodating including security!

Fantastic We went to this place and had a few drinks in the garden bar then went into the bistro to eat. The food was really good. We were at table 27 and the staff and especially Andre the manager were so helpful and polite. Thank for a great Time Brendon Reed

Shocking management. Watched them empty machines when people left the machine on a break. Class themselves better than the crown. Took my money then asked me to leave as my shoes were not suitable. Took them 3 hours to decide this info. Drinks so expensive. Save your money for a worthwhile experience.

Beer garden was actually nice little spot for lunch. Spacious area with alot of sun. Lunch was reasonable. Great Northern beer seemed to be a little flat. Would definitely pop back in.

Nice atmosphere, great service, the waitress was lovely and attentive. My girlfriend loved her food, she had the pork belly. I, however, thought my food tasted quite old. I had the German pork plate. The potato salad had an old fridge taste to it, as well as the sausage. The pork belly was nice tho. I couldn't get past that old taste, so I didn't finish my food. Maybe it was my taste buds? But it wasn't enjoyable.

Last time we got take away they messed up the order and gave me an Angus beef burger instead of the pulled pork burger I ordered and tonight I've ended up with a flavourless chicken risotto on my birthday no less. Usually really good food. Super disappointed.

I'm fairly regularly here on a Friday night with friends. Staff are always friendly and the food is always good. Entertainment can be hit or miss though, girl who usually wears a hat is a hit but recently she's only on every other week and the others are just not as good. Only thing that spoils the pub for me.

Food was great and service when we arrived.
Husband had Parma with real chicken not processed. ??'?Recommend beef sliders for entree. Had chef special for main Barra very nice.
Down side service didn't come after meals served and after clearing table. We would have had extra drinks. Waited for 15 minutes for someone to take dessert order but didn't happen. So we left, otherwise worth a visit, for a great meal.

Very nice food especially the steaks. Service was good too!. Not to pricey.

Long time customer of the Gladstone park hotel, I spend most of my time in the gaming room and just wanted to say how lovely the staff are, the main gaming room staff of Donna, Maryanne & Tracey are wonderful, the manager Rhi is a lovely young lady who always comes up to have a chat with me, the sercuity guards Nick, Ricky and Omar are so good always make me feel safe and welcome. You have a wonderful team of staff who make coming to the Gladstone park hotel a great experience.

Food was great. But just one thing, would have been helpful to be told that the kitchen was closing, as we would have loved dessert. Maybe next time.

Fantastic place for a delicious pub dinner. Beer was ice cold, food was piping hot and cooked to perfection. So fresh, so tasty. I'll definitely come back for more.

For a neighbourhood local pub, they have certainly got incredible music on Friday nights. The female vocalist Shae completely blew us away with her performance. We will definitely be coming back to see her and enjoy after work drinks on Friday. Thanks!

Had a booking for lunch here today as i was in the area to meet up with some people.
I was pleasantly surprised, it was clean ,service at the table was a positive and the meals were nice. Some had seniors meals and they were of a good size and well priced.
Would recommend to book ahead as it was reasonably busy.

Nice local pub. Its changed a lot since I was a kid. Looks good. Food was good. Couple of little hiccups, but otherwise fine.

Very happy with the service, everyone was lovely and very accommodating when we had to shift tables due to having someone in a wheelchair.
The amount of Parmas is AWESOME! We all want to come back for our next birthday dinner/lunch.

Service was slow and staff were not friendly. My calamari was over cooked dry and tastless. Salad was lettuce leaves, one cherry tomato and a couple of slivers of onion. No dressing. We finished our meal well before 8.00 and through the lack of service were not offered the dessert menu. We asked for it at 8.40 and were told the kitchen closed at 8.30. No dessert. As I went to get out of my chair it completely collapsed and I fell to the floor. The chair's welding had failed. It was difficult to get staff attention to the problem. One lady staff member did get my name and mobile number for the next day Manager(as the night manager had already left for the night) to call and check I was OK. The call never came. I and my friends have no reason to return here for a meal and will tell others of my experience.

Had lunch with my brother in the garden bar on Saturday, it was so good.. the food and service was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

The restaurant is open and uncluttered, service is very thoughtful, particularly for someone in a wheelchair. If booking, let them know that as there are two levels, one with a couple of steps. My only complaint of the venue is access to the club from the car park with a wheelchair. Fine if you drive to the door to drop-off the passenger and then find a park but overall the condition of the access into the club over the entries into their car park is deplorable.

We were fortunate enough to call in for lunch yesterday in the garden bar and the young brunette girl behind the bar was fantastic. Her professional and pleasant demeanour were beyond reproach and complimented our nice lunch. To have such a delightful and dedicated employee as young as her is a huge bonus for the hotel

Food is generally good here. The beer garden has a cozy atmosphere. Recommend for a good pub lunch
