Terrible Service, one grumpy bar woman looking after 2 bars and the games room, drinks were warm, food overpriced and very bland. The calamari was the rubber kind in weird crumbs, chips old and cold, wilted salad. Not a great first visit being a new local to the area.
I'll drive to Childers or Bundy if I'm ever taking a visitor out.

Stayed here for a week with my son and uncle.
Great service from the staff and the rooms were perfect.
The staff helped keep us fed and made sure we didn't go thirsty and the chicken burger is scrumptious

The meals were wonderful. Made my whole self feel happy, we were all supe happy with our meals, cooked very well, staff was absolutely wonderful and just an overall great and Calming experience. Thank you Gin Gin, and hotel staff, love this community ❤️

Came for a deadly feed and a couple coldies but this mob turned me nose up. $50 for a kids sized steak and expected to saw through it with a butter knife.

Willing to get over that but the dart machine needed a touch up and to make matters worse the tables were stickier than my uncle after he's been charging all day.

Didn't stay long enough to see if the pool table was rolling straight. But I expect it to be as bent as my dogs back leg like the rest of this joint.

Highly recommended, Very Helpful staff, value for money, They have a bistro where you can find very good quality food at a very reasonable price.

Very average food!! A solid 1 minute between entree and main.(and we had to go get the entire but the main was brought to us ???")So main went cold, I asked if it could be warned up, they were polite and did so, however we all know that makes it dry and not so great. Also no dressing with salad... so food 0 stars. However the bartender was so nice, efficient and up for a chat all the stars are for her!

Just dropped in for a quick dinner. The menu was pub style with a reasonable range of options.

I dealt with three staff members during my visit, and all three were friendly and very helpful.

The food was good and my steak was perfectly cooked to my request.

So overall, it is a great place to stop for a meal whilst passing through a halfway point on a journey between Brisbane and Central Queensland locations like Rickhampton.

Had great service even though I only arrived at 9 pm. Room was nice and clean and the shared bathroom ??'? . Shared bathrooms are not really for me , but everything was so nice and clean I did not mind it at all. Thanks for the beer after the last call. 😁

I had a nice stay here, old fashioned country pub. I recommending securing your breakfast the night before, some jerk took all the breakfast stuff before 6am. Lmao

Just stopped here for dinner at the Groovy Goat, lovely friendly staff and the food was amazing. I am eating a keto diet, asked for a naked chicken breast with salad and they did not disappoint. Wife had surf and turf and was impressed also.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. Always a nice quiet atmosphere in the daytime.

Great atmosphere in the beer garden and friendly bar staff. A bit disappointed with the meal, got a Thai beef salad which was just a heap of lettuce with overcooked steak.

I've only been to this hotel twice so far, and found it very good, the drinks were icy cold, the food great and the staff welcoming. There is a secure playground out the front so you have dinner as the kids play.

Food was spot on. But the other tenants were not. Up all night partying, slamming doors, yelling. Knocked on the wall for a bit of quiet around 12 and was met with "its a ******* birthday party, get over yourself". Do not stay here if you need to get up early for work. And maybe offer a refund as a kind gesture?

One star because the bed was comfortable but that's it, people, other guests leaving their doors open in 3 rooms talking very loud in the hallway right at our door, smoke alarms going off through the night, kitchen kettle absolutely filthy black inside and a dirty fridge, never never again.

Outstanding small town pub. Will definitely be back. Great service. Excellent food, I had the prawn and mango salad so fresh and an absolute flavour explosion! Playground for the kiddies is really good. Highly recommend stopping here.

Excellent hotel, couldn't recommend it enough. Super reasonable prices with great facilities. Good quality bed but did have somewhat significant noise from the road (but to be expected so wasn't too dissapointed by that). Hotel nice and clean with good food. Great friendly staff. Food horrible. Also not sure when a garden salad became an Asian salad. Just say salad. Never again.

Not a bad feed here at the hotel in gin gin. Since the children have moved here we have been here a few times. Haven't let us down as yet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The children's playground is great to keep the kids busy while the adults have a cold beer and chat. The meals are not too bad but just remember it is a pub and not top nosh restaurant. Some people forget that and expect too much for there money. It is what it is. Chicken schnitzel is the best and would recommend this of the menu. My kids prefer the steak. Our family ate here on Friday night (group of 20) after a funeral. The service was amazing...Brooke was super attentive, our meals all come out on time and were cooked to perfection. Well done to the Gin Gin Hotel...You brightened our day

Loved their service and food. I ordered Asian Beef Salad, it was yummy and full. I am really glad that we stopped at there for lunch.Thank you chef for preparing it real fast. I would recommend it for anyone.

Fantastic lunch stop. Pleasant surroundings, cold drinks and lovely meals. Good selection on the menu and meal size was quite generous.

Nice country pub, good beer garden, plenty of room for kids. Food was good, however i ordered a burger with the works and got a normal burger with the addition of an egg, they forgot the bacon. Good beer at good prices. Unfortunately the designated smoking area was just outside of the bar and practically in the beer garden, so you could smell the cigarette smoke when you were in the beer garden or when you were getting a drink. Maybe some thought should be given to relocating it as there are children in the beer garden as well.
