I went to the Gateway Hotel with a few of my friends aged between 60yrs to 85yrs and we had the best time. When my friends come from Barooga we Always had lunch or dinner there they said it was the best place they had been to as well. Every occasion to go out we head to the Gateway and most of my Family and friends go there as well. We have a saying let's go out for dinner or even just drinks we don't say where we just say a time

We stayed here as our flight from Avalon was canceled due to storm. What a pleasant surprise ! Huge modern room, so well equiped and spotlessly clean. Not glamorous, but very convenient location. Best of all was Leanne on reception who was so helpful in this last minute stressful situation. Lianne made us feel so welcome and exemplifies great service!

Service was fantastic, and the bistro was a delight to eat at. I highly recommend the Gateway hotel to everyone, and thank them for being such great hosts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time out in Geelong, looked for somewhere to eat. Stumbled across Gateway hotel. Was introduced to Andrew at the front desk. Super friendly and accomodating bloke who made me feel welcome. Couldn't ask for better customer service. Give this man a rise!
On Monday through Sunday, Nightcap at Gateway Hotel is open from 9 AM until 5 AM the following morning.
