The food is not like it used to be. The Angus burger was very oily, non descriptive taste, excessive buttered up bun roll with super salty chips. The barramundi burger had two small deep fried fish finger sized fish. The tastiest was the beetroot.

This is a fabulous find and well worth the drive ? This is a real country pub with real cowboys ? lt's so perfect ? The room was very nicely decorated, bed comfortable, shower hot, staff accommodating and friendly. How l wish l could have stayed longer. Youtube movies were a bonus. l watched Ben Hall ? Value for money ? You will love this charming place ?

Overall the food is great but iv noticed that the prices have gone up and food quantity has gone down, not to mention the waiters/waitresses are completely rude.... They would want to improve or they're going to start losing customers, I know for a fact I'll be eating there less as I hate being ripped off.

Six of us on a bike trip travelled from Hervey Bay and stayed overnight at the pub.
We were met by a very friendly and helpful young lady who told us the best spot for our bikes and then allocated our rooms. The rooms were great, very clean, comfortable, and well appointed.
The beer was cold, and the meals were bloody good. I had the garlic prawn with rice and salad, and a couple of the guys had battered flathead fillets and chips. The other three had pizzas of various flavours.
Everyone one of us commented on how good the meals were and how great the staff were.
It's an amazing, well run hotel in a great little country town.

This has to be the best pub I have stayed at. The food was awesome.. I had beef and reef..The staff were so friendly. Jordy was behind bar, and then the next thing I knew, she was pumping out a beautiful tune on her guitar ?.
Met Loraine, the manager. She has done an amazing job of decorating the accommodation rooms. They are cosy and homey.
Differently recommended this hotel.
