The short fella I think his name was Alex is so friendly and helped me with a variety of things whilst I was at the venue.

Had the best Sunday roast for dinner tonight at the Calwell club, soo good! Choice of roast lamb, beef or pork, or all 3😛 which I ordered. Faultless service and the food was amazing, obviously cooked by a chef and kitchen staff who take pride in their generous offerings. Seven (7) veg including 3 whole medium sized baked potatoes in golden crispy jackets, good chunk of caramelised melt in the mouth pumpkin, firm hot green beans, juicy steamed carrot slices, firm but tender broccoli and cauliflower, and juicy zucchini. Plenty of tasty good consistency gravy and two separate sauce ramekins, one with mint jelly and the other with apple sauce, oh and a nice chunk of pork crackling 😍😋. Well done Calwell club and thank you for such beautiful meals, we will definitely be back??'?

Excellent club, and staff and food always top notch, but , and is why i drop one star, last Sunday roast which ordered 3, were on kiddies plate, and small serve , no crackle , wife paid adult price, other 2 orders , surf and turf & rainbow salad, were on large plates & normal generous serve. We had the Sunday roast many times before, 2 weeks ago , it was fabulous . What happened to Sunday Roast?

Such a nice club! The staff are friendly and since the renovations it's very homey and warm. The pinball machine and pool table are a big hit with us. Also love the outdoor area and now that summer is back I'll defs be there more often.

This is our 'local' and generally the meals are great but recently the last 2-3 visits we were very disappointed with the chicken schnitzel. They have severely reduced the size of them. Smallest schnitzel of all the clubs around! More like a kids schnitzel size. My boys love their schnitzel's so we won't be dining here for the schnitzel.
