Pub meals are deliciously cooked and generous in size. if you are visiting Tasman Peninsula make sure you try out the menu. We were blown away by the seafood platters, so generous and cooked to perfection. We have booked a table for next week to enjoy them again! highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic pub! Friendly and fun. Food delicious and great price. We started in the paddock next door in the van for 4 nights. Highly recommend

Although we did not eat, nor did we stay, we asked about staying at the spot campsite next door. They were very helpful and gave us information about the area as well. The staff was very straightforward and friendly.
We were late for the food, but the prices were unbelievably cheap for how big and well presented the dishes looked. We would definitely go again.

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time! I ordered a side of gravy for dipping and it was very generous! My partner got a chicken shnitty bigger than his hand. We finished with two rounds of pool and a little walk to view the beach nearby. Next time I want to camp in the lot next door (one comment here said it was donation based). Staff instantly made us feel welcomed. I've always wanted to come here, but they recently closed for renovations so I thought they were closed for good! So glad I double checked. Definitely coming back soon ✨

Terrible! Ordered the Lamb Shanks. Awful! The worst lamb shanks I have ever eaten in Australia. The lamb was dry and tasteless, vegetables not cooked properly. Not worth the $35 price. The chef appeared Indian. Maybe they should learn to cook European food or stick to Indian cuisine and stay away from Australian Country Pubs.

We attended on a quiet Monday night, so little of quality available even at Sorell. We made our way down to Dunalley Hotel and were very glad we did. The service was great country, friendly service and the meals were large, well prepared and well priced with a good variety. If you are out that way we would recommend.

Omg what a delight! We were pleasantly surprised by our meals here. My parmigiana loving husband was in awe of his huge plate. The prices were very affordable despite the incredibly generous serves, as we watched other people's meals come out it seems that is that case across the menu. Large wholesome tucker. Gorgeous little spot.

Delicious and fresh flounder, pricing was okay. Seafood chowder has reduced in overall quantity since 2015/6.

Food was terrible! Roast veggies were watery and boiled not roasted. Gravy tasted like lambs fry. My wife's chips looked pale and looked like they were from the frozen section of supermarket. Food use to be great there but not anymore

Because we had a free camp next door, we had some drinks & dinner. Awesome! Food was delicious & heaps of it & the staff sooo friendly. Even the locals like to share a chat. ??'?

We stopped in for a few drinks on the way back from Port Arthur and were met with incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

It was a beautiful setting, very clean, and plenty of seating.

The highlight was the local sheep escaping for a wander, but don't bank on that every day! They're not supposed to leave their paddock! But it was also just nice to watch them from the deck, grazing just 15m away.

There is a reason country pubs are a must visit and this place is one of those special ones.

Extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered crumbed scallops with vegetables. The meal delivered looked unappetising & was. The scallops tasted like they'd been cooked in old dirty oil
The vegetables were hard & cut into large sizes whereas smaller pieces probably would have been cooked through.

Excellent pub meal. We have been twice a week apart. A large menu and reasonable prices. They're well known for large servings. their staff were lovely. alcohol prices we thought was very reasonable as well. We're interstate tourists and think this pub is awesome.

We had a beautiful lunch today at the Dunalley Hotel, both ladies behind the bar were very friendly and helpful, I had the seafood combo and my partner had the chicken schnitzel with seafood topping.

Both meals were huge and good quality.

The gentleman in the black shirt who handed our meals too was very friendly and looked after us.

Best pub we have been to in quite a while.

Always 10/10. Love the vibe, service is amazing, atmosphere is even better. Meals amazing, as regulars/locals haven't had anything but a great meal.

We stay here for the night camping, it's in a paddock off to the side and just a gold coin donation, the staff were friendly, we also ordered their pizza which was super yummy! Great spot for self sufficient campers as there isn't many spots here, just clean up after yourself and they're happy for you to stay as long as you want. We are coming back again on Tuesday night to stay again and have dinner again

Stopped in for a meal on the way back from Port Arthur. The decor in the bistro is like stepping back in time, and the service and food were great. Biggest parma I've ever had, and my partner's lamb shanks were excellent too!

Nice meal & great entertainment, really enjoyable way to bring in the new year.

Warning - the Death by Chocolate dessert is huge! Get it to share 😋

You better not be thirsty as publican could not care less if you are served to busy nursing her dog.

We stopped for lunch on a slow Sunday. My husband and I ordered the reef and beef, which was plentiful and tasty. We were able to use it entertainment card so got one meal for free.
Staff were friendly and service good.
The restaurant area could do with updating.
Overall a lovely stop.

I had the roast pork.

I ordered the large serve but still walked away hungry.

The meal comprised of a small amount of meat with no crackling, 1 cut of the following, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, broccoli.

The only thing there was plenty of was gravy and applesauce.

I would hate to know what size the small serve will comprise of.

My brother had the seafood bake which comprised of a small bowl of seafood covered in white sauce and cheese and came with a small amount of chips and salad.

He was unhappy with the meal also.
Totally overpriced at $32

The food itself was ok but no way near as good as it has been in the past.

We are both locals and will not come back in a hurry to pay tourist prices and leave hungry and unsatisfied

Seafood combo was a con...all from a box me thinks...straight from warehouse?? ? Maybe not the scallops but..very disappointing if you look at the sign on the highway says local seafood

Was a great pub feed. I got the chicken schnitzel, which came with a choice of gravy. But definitely get an extra jug, unfortunately it's not quite enough.

A great selection of Parmi's! I opted for the meat lovers. My mistake was also ordering the garlic and cheese bread, which prevented me finishing the massive serve! Huge piece of chicken, which I feared might be low quality, but was impressed with the slab.

No complaints, I stayed in a camper for free in their block next door, great bonus to finish the night!
