It took ages to get served. When we did, my friends order was taken, and then the bartender went back to the other end of the bar and served the locals again. Then, came back and took my order. I did tell her that what she did was wrong. So very wrong.
When the food came out my friends steak, which was supposed to be cooked medium, was overcooked and as tough as leather. She couldn't finish it. My snitzel was nice, but the salad was pathetic. It has been 2 years since the last disappointing lunch that it will be another 2 years until I return again. Which is a shame as I only live around the corner.

My Wife and I came here for Valentines Day. The food was amazing. Food portion was perfect and nicely presented. (Well done Chef) Amanda and the team provided fantastic service. So kind, polite and efficient. They all made us feel so welcome. And the Waffles and ice cream was the Yummiest OMG. We are 'Definitely' coming back again.

Highly recommend this place. Beautiful food in very good and big portions will 100% fill you up. Chef cooked amazing food and delicious desserts. Staff very friendly and easy going towards customers especially the manger there tonight, Judith. Music is very good to listen to and eat your dinner and play pool with family and the atmosphere in there is an absolute vibe. anyone new to this area I highly suggest this tavern.

The staff were lovely & helpful. Any questions we had, they were straight over to answer.
We were told there were pies on special & they were a good size for a meal, but maybe they were confusing them for the "pie of the day". These were simply someone's grocery store frozen pies they were trying to get rid. The crust was now solid as a brick. But the chips were perfect! Ha?!
The section was screened off from the sporting/betting section which helped make it a little more private but it was at a main entrance & right in front of a bar. There are only a few tables cramped in All? this tiny space? but it made it cozy I guess! There was also outside (I think for smokers - though it kept wafting in).
We stayed for karaoke. The whole night was well controlled by 3 huge security guards that were very calm in their conduct! Even with 3 broken glasses, the staff were straight on to clean up!
The whole night went really well because this team worked so well together. I was incredibly impressed by what could've been a typical, disastrous night at the pub. Thank you everyone at the Diamond Tavern! ??'??
Update:
Went back the next week & tried the Salt & Pepper Calamari with salad & the Wagyu Burger with Chips. The meals this time Were Huge & far too filling that neither of us could finish! They do have take away containers but we mostly had chips leftover & I had 2 pieces of calamari! I can't believe they served so much calamari that I couldn't even finish it! Very impressed!!?????
