Droped by after visiting the George Wildlife park. Absolutely fantastic! Friendly and quick service with some of the tastiest wedges we've ever had! Highly recommend. 5 stars all round.

Hey Guys whoever reading these reviews, How can someone wont visit this place and have a beer and steak? Or parmi with fries and salad? Such a distinctive place to visit, nice small place with a lot to offer with Best location and view on offer with warmth of the staff and friendly behaviour of locals,Highly recommended place to dine inn after visiting the park near by or going to birdwood,Gumeracha area. I request all of ya to visit once atleast 🥩🥃🍸🥂

Loved our stay at Cudlee Creek on our Heysen walk. Gardener offered to rake the grass on our tent site, had the best chicken salad wrap then lucked the all you can eat schnitzel night where we met some lovely locals. Recommend the apple rhubarb crumble.dessert.

I was a thru hiker on the Heysen, arrived on a Sunday with tavern closed, at 4:15,office hours posted at 2-5. Found a lovely permanent local, like many are doing it tough and having to live here atm. She offered me the bathroom code and I assured her I'd call in to settle with the manager. Bathrooms dirty, grounds unwelcoming, residents really decent, although I initially felt a bit unsettled. Slept till 6 and set off on my way
Today I called to settle my account with the manager, to be lectured that they close early if it's quiet, that's why Heysen walkers need to pre book, that no one should have let met into the bathroom ( btw, the hall bathroom across the street is open to anyone who needs, and is squeaky clean) and ' have me a pass' on payment. I've backpacked the globe, don't need much except some degree of safety and respect.
Drive or walk on would be my suggestion, and I anticipate a negative and defensive rebuttal based on this manager's past responses to reviews.
