Service was good in the reception but the restaurant was simply shocking spoken to Rudely, told we don't have to book a table for in house guest went for dinner no tables had to sit outside in the cold with kids & food was served cold, in the rooms they have sliding doors to entry courtyard area went to go out they lock themselves and had to ring front office and the lady told me what I had to do to unlock didn't work so they came and unlocked it... yet again locked itself and wouldn't open, rang no help but sorry it's too late for us to attend, (needed fresh air but had to walk outside my room and into court yard, pool & spa facilities were a great eye catch on booking to come to have the spa broken,
Food service food was better than the restaurant!
Not child friendly like stated on the phone!

We stayed at Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters while our father was critically ill in hospital, so this was not a holiday - it was a very difficult time for our family. The only real positive was the convenient location close to the hospital.

Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing. Our first room was freezing. Instead of moving us, we were initially offered a portable heater. We only received another room after repeatedly asking.

The food was well below expectations. We ordered the rump steak, which arrived undercooked and cold. We sent it back, but the replacement was just as disappointing - tough, chewy and not enjoyable to eat, so I gave up on the meal.

When we extended our stay, we were told we would keep the same room rate. However, when it came time to pay, we were quoted a significantly higher price, despite what we had been told. That was extremely frustrating.

On our final day, we were having lunch while the AFL was already on TV and being watched by several patrons. A staff member changed the channel at the request of one customer without considering everyone else. When I politely raised the issue, I found the staff dismissive and rude.

Overall, this experience added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time for our family. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again.

We stayed here to support our critically ill father in hospital, but the poor service and overall experience made an already stressful time even harder.

The Crown Plaza is divided into grovey sections to make it easy to get around. The Italian restaurant is absolutely great,the food and drinks are of high quality and friendly service with a smile. The rooms were great and so was the bed and service of the room was done with great care. The check in and Foyer is nice and big, the staff were fantastic to both of us.

Room was clean, modern and luxurious in furnishings and technology.
Bathroom was clean, modern and well supplied with basic amenities.
Parking was ample all the way around the site.
It was very difficult to take bags and suitcases from the car to the room, as there was no direct path from the car park to your room.
For security reasons, there were a series of gates that secured each access point. That is a great feature. However, the feature fails to serve when patrons don't close the gates properly at night or day, rendering them useless. Site staff are not aware of this!
Also, my room was on the ground floor, with nothing between myself and the big paddock right at the back of the complex but a single plate-glass sliding door and a flimsy lock. I did not feel safe as a woman travelling alone. That was not a good decision by the site staff, and they knew that I was a solo traveller and female from my profile at booking. Outside partition walls are all cracked. Outdoors was clean and tidy.

Well appointed rooms. We booked a suite which was very comfortable and had everything you need. A slight hiccup with there being only bath towels and face cloths, no floor or hand towel but hopefully just an oversight. Front desk informed on checkout and offered a sincere apology. No biggie, just a couple of towels! Areas where rooms are is secure but for parking your car we noticed a fence gate to bushland just wide open. Not sure what that was about. Reception server was very helpful in providing information about the rooms, complex, entertainment and eateries. Had dinner at The Juicy Rump and could not fault it.
