We had our annual choir Christmas break up dinner there a few weeks ago. A good time was had by all. Lovely food. Friendly helpful staff.

We had a family lunch today @ the Cross Keys. It couldn't have been better. Meals were delivered quickly & were delicious.
3 coarse Seniors meal for is great value.
Definitely going back.

Disappointed. I used to love love the fish on the Seniors menu. Was outstanding and it was always better than every fish and chip shop I've been to. Now the opposite is more relevant. We went on a Tuesday. The supposedly flake looked more like a bigger version of a fish finger. You got one. I don't even believe it was flake. I have no idea what changed but it wasn't a good one. This hotel also has one of the more expensive senior menus so there is no reason why stanards dropped. The soup was very good though.

First time visiting here with a group of 12 for my partners birthday. The service was very prompt and friendly and the food was reasonably priced and fantastic. No one left disappointed and everyone mentioned what a lovely meal they had! Very busy place, can be a tad noisey, but that definitely didn't bother us.
Porterhouse Steak, lamb shanks and risotto were a hit!

For years a great place.
But! today, my lamb cutlets were burnt and hidden by the gravy bowl until it was too late to say anything.
And, we did NOT appreciate being given 20 minutes notice that "they want the table back". Evidently to prepare for dinner, at 3.00 pm!!!!! This should have been made clear when booking!
Other hotels don't do this, eg at Pascoe Vale hotel there are no time restrictions.
