What a great pub and our new favourite pub to eat at in Strathalbyn, the service was great, friendly and efficient. The food was awesome. The range of local wines is admirable to support local industry and typically for the region, very pleasant. even the house white from Currency Creek was worth every cent. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike, we will be back.

Wagu Steak, sauce was to die for, prawns excellent. Salad could have been better. Chips were yummy. Steak was cooked to perfection. Service friendly and quick.

First time dining here, and the food was really well made. Impressed with how well the schnitzels were made, especially the melted and charred cheese on top. The atmosphere was cozy, definitely not a bad place to take a shoe off and relax. Having the olympics on in the background was nice but distracting. Overall a really good pub!

Firstly - what a great place ! We happened to come here with the entertainment book as this booklet really makes us go and try other places than just in Adelaide - to our amazement the staff were brilliant - the waygu schnitzel was overwhelming as was the lamb salad - prices were realistic and a great walk afterwards to the curio shops - all in all a great destination drive/ location with ample parking

Dropped in on a quiet Monday night for a meal after driving up from the city. Had been reading reviews of the schnitzel offerings so was keen to try. Wasn't disappointed, all three at our table were spot on. Staff were friendly and helpful. hotel is immaculate inside. I'll be back again next time I'm in the area. Cheers !
