Very friendly welcoming bar/kitchen staff.
Warm atmosphere including local patrons.
Prompt bar/kitchen service.
Excellent meals & salad bar.
We had snitzel/prawn garlic sauce & Stuffed chicken.
We have been in Burra for a week & visited all hotels & found Commercial best establishment.

Food review: had the pizza garlic bread and beef stew with dumpling. They were both very delicious and definitely would come back to eat again.

Just dropped in for a meal on Sunday night with friends.
Staff very friendly. Reasonable selection of various meals available.
Main dining area can be a touch noisy as sounds tend to echo around a bit.
Small dining area with carpeted floor was much quieter.
When busy meals can take a while. That\'s OK when you have good company to chat away. All meals were very good and represent good value.
One thing to remember is the kitchen shuts off right on 8pm sharp. We tried to order desert at 8.02pm and were, politely refused.
So, if you are wanting that extra bit make sure you get in beforehand.
There is, also, a Cafe attached to the hotel, which we didn\'t realise until later next day. Can\'t say what it\'s like but it\'s there.
Parking is easy and plentiful.
Just don\'t pull in too close as the gutters are much higher than what you will find in most places.

Came for the saltbush snags and came again for the The Commercial Double Stacked Burger. Have never had better snags or a bigger better burger. Just do it. The food is great the staff are wonderful and the value superb.

This hotel is really great. Ancient Country style setup & beautiful ambience inside. Food is really tasty & they have a lot of good options on the menu. There is a small gaming zone inside too & the bar is a great place to sit around supping a drink with ur friends. They even have a cafe inside.
