Long time member. Meal prices very good. I'm not a gambler or a drinker. I went there for the entertainment & food. In 2014 & prior, I had a problem with a particular staff member who I would regard as a bully. The manager said my complaint would be handled by the committee. Nothing ever happened

Very pleasantly surprised.
A "local" Club (Bowling) which I think has been somewhat overlooked.
We've driven past here I don't know how many times and never really taken any notice.
It was recommended to me recently and I couldn't think of where it is, so I had to look it up.
We decided to give it try on a Saturday night which is always a good test.
This a "no table cloth" affair however, it does offer quite a comprehensive menu including a carvery.
Our meals were great, hearty and very tasty.
Good value as well. All meals are very well priced.
All in all, a pleasurable experience. Will be definitely returning.

I took my partner out for lunch today. I got a mini seafood plate for 15.50 if I wanted a salad I would have asked for one ...heaps more salad then seafood with 6 chips...no value had..and my partner had a steak burger for 18.00 the steak was 3 mil thick and grey and my schooner was the dregs had sediment in bottom of glass and flat.
My family have been going there for 26 years plus ...very disappointed as had bad experience last 2 visits .
Also the bar lady should find a different profession.
And do you guys ever clean the toilet?
And my membership card didn't work but still valid?

I recently tried the Club Kawana hamburger, and it did not disappoint! The beef patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. The soft bun held everything together nicely, and the side of fries was crispy and delicious. The portion size was generous, and the meal was great value for money. If you're looking for a tasty, satisfying burger.

A group of us went for lunch today to the Kawana Bowls Club and I was appalled to see the guy behind the counter at the Cafe, who was wearing gloves, taking cash from patrons, touching the till and then handing the customer a buzzer to advise when their order was ready, then he turned and went to the bench and began assisting the lady making sandwiches. Someone obviously hasn't explained to him what the gloves are for ! Oh, and then there was a cough into the glove as he returned back to the counter to serve another customer. Someone needs to explain to him what the reason for the gloves is. Needless to say I just ordered a coffee and wouldn't go back to the Cafe but someone needs to have a conversation with him. The place was buzzing and obviously very popular.
