Only reason for giving 2 stars is the hot water system was not working. They did not let people know. It was not working and they had no date or time to say when it would be repaired. I thought that was very poor on their behalf and the staff did not know when it would be up and running, not a hard thing to have replaced or repaired. In my opinion in saying that the room was spotless. Looks like it had just had a renovation done recently and was very tidy so the only thing that let it down was the hot water system out of action.

Had one of the best steaks I've had in a long time .. Rump MR with salad,chips and mushroom sauce 😋 my partner had the same and was just as impressed..
Staff are always friendly and helpful..

Very disappointed. First time everything was great but as time goes on places get more lacks and chef/ cooks need to learn the difference between medium and well done. Entrees turned up after 2 meals had been served. Yes it was garlic bread but we had been there for 45 minutes.

I had the best local fesh beer batterd fish on Saturday night just gone(1st June 24) they were so busy. But staff handled it all, very well.

Very clean friendly staff willing to help and advice on where to go and not to go. Food is beautiful and tasty also fresh. Highly recommended this place to anyone anytime.

I'm really sorry to do this, but I just need to share my experience to make whoever reads these aware, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great one.
I came to karaoke night on Saturday night, and came in early to have dinner. I see 2 staff ( Michelle and Jess - 5 stars to both of these incredible ladies!! ) absolutely run off their feet, and then I spot Nicole, who is standing around doing nothing, just leaning on the end of the bar. Probably has to be the laziest hospitality worker I've ever seen.
She wouldn't help the other 2 already very busy staff serve the bar when people were lining up, and she just left!

I was finished eating at this time so made my way into the sports bar for karaoke early. Not surprisingly, Nicole had abandoned her teammates to gossip with the other workers, in both the public bar and gaming bar!
I had to leave because I couldn't bare witness to it anymore.
I've worked in the industry for over 30 years. This is not what hospitality is about, it's about team work, and how she's still working there is beyond me.
What goes around, comes around.

Great food. Exceptional service.
Could not ask for more.
Had a steak that came out perfectly cooked and donut fries for desert, all fantastic.

Even got an impromptu singing session for my birthday after being a bit cheeky with the server.

Great night, will be back.

Popped in for lunch on my way through town, and I must say the service I received from the manager Jess was absolutely fantastic!
She took attention to detail to ensure there was something that would satisfy my need for a fulfilling meal!
Pretty well priced for a pub, and definitely recommend if you swing through.

Had our Choice Passion life staff Christmas function there. We're well taken care from the Bar attendant on the night. Very accommodating friendly staff member. Great food platters and the cheese platter was super. Thank 😊You for the awesome night.

We had Christmas lunch here today.. What a great experience. Great selection of food and deserts, presents for the kids and some lucky adults, a fun Santa and even two complimentary drinks. Thank you, we will be back.

Celebrated my Neices 18th birthday at The Club Hotel Gladstone.
The meals were great with an excellent menu. Ordering either in person at the bar or online assists all generations. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately two of our party's meals were forgotten, but when this was brought to the attention of our server, he was extremely apologetic and comped the couple a drink each.
I was visiting Gladstone from Tassie and would recommend The Club Hotel to anyone visiting for a great feed

Amazing staff and food! Had many hours to kill because of a very delayed train, and they were so accomodating and nice about it. Let me sit in the warmth for a few hours rather than in the cold, and had a delicious menu. Beautiful interior, playground for kids. Highly recommend.

Kid 1: "the potato scallop was great. The pizza was pretty good, the fish was great and the chips were perfectly crunchy."

Kid 2: "the pizza was good and the prawns were amazing and the chips were double amazing and the fish was good and the water was amazing."

A great place for a meal. Plus, if you join the tradie club every Friday, they give you $10 on them and a free BBQ. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's close to most things in town.

Went for the first time tonight and what a disappointment. Near $40 for a seafood basket and the fish was raw in the middle, got a refund but no apology. The rest of it was bland and poor quality food. Won't return.

We had an amazing experience last night in the bistro! The new upgrades and renovations are outstanding. The staff were exceptional in their service. Every one of them were, friendly, prompt and super helpful. They even bought our birthday cake to the table singing and cheering. Their hospitality made our night!

Nice, spacious place for family and get togethers with good selection of menu and drinks. We had the bacon carbonara and roasted cauliflower which were all good.

Went to dinner tonight with my family and had the most wonderful service by a staff member named Hayley, I'm a very picky and anxious person and she was very patient with me. Amazing service will definitely recommend being served by her to my family and friends.

Beer garden is awesome plenty of seating and soon to have a play area for the kids plenty of shade out there to inside looks great to. Plenty of friendly staff for the lunch rush but service at the bar was neglected. You can order from your table both food and drinks.small parking lot but plenty of street parking.

Won the major on $2.50 so can't complain im sure to be back another day ;)

Had lunch here and it was so yummy. Had the crumbed steak chips and dianne sauce which was to die for. And the steak sangas was the bomb, the egg was nice a goey and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend ??'?

My stay was memorable. All we needed was a bed and a shower and that is what we got. Unfortunately the room we got eventually had not been used for sometime which was mentioned to us. The overhead fan had a thick layer of dust, which we did not use. The room was small for 2 people but just adequate. The bathroom looked relatively clean but no provision of any extra toilet paper due to being closed over Easter. Thats ok, we used our own. For the price it was a budget room with budget food. The staff were very friendly.

I am vegetarian and knowing this, the staff, in particular head chef made some of the food in different container before adding animal products to it. I was told what was in the food and asked after if it was ok. I did not request or ask for it and was thrilled to see this had happened. Extraordinary service.

Not cooked, half cold inside, no sauce as advertised. Horrible customer service. Was just ignored when I said it was cold and not cooked properly. All the meals we ordered were horrible. They were all served with old onions that looked pickled but were not. Do not recommend!!!!

Good meals and budget rooms available.

I've been for dinner quite a few times and stay a couple of times as well.

The meals have always been good with daily specials. Prices are average for good pub fare.

Rooms needed some love, but I understood I wasn't staying at the Ritz so I was ok with that.

All in all, staff were friendly and I enjoying going here for a quite beer after work and a feed for lunch or dinner.
