I'm really sorry to do this, but I just need to share my experience to make whoever reads these aware, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great one.
I came to karaoke night on Saturday night, and came in early to have dinner. I see 2 staff ( Michelle and Jess - 5 stars to both of these incredible ladies!! ) absolutely run off their feet, and then I spot Nicole, who is standing around doing nothing, just leaning on the end of the bar. Probably has to be the laziest hospitality worker I've ever seen.
She wouldn't help the other 2 already very busy staff serve the bar when people were lining up, and she just left!
I was finished eating at this time so made my way into the sports bar for karaoke early. Not surprisingly, Nicole had abandoned her teammates to gossip with the other workers, in both the public bar and gaming bar!
I had to leave because I couldn't bare witness to it anymore.
I've worked in the industry for over 30 years. This is not what hospitality is about, it's about team work, and how she's still working there is beyond me.
