The Staff were kind and attentive but we were allocated a different room to what we paid for and we had deliberately selected a larger room to accommodate our sleeping needs. I mentioned this twice in the booking process but nothing came from it and I was too embarrassed to argue. As a result, we had an almost sleepless night added to by the noise outside from revving cars and people yelling and carrying on. The hotel runs the pokies and is open till very late which I suspect contributes to the noise to which we were subjected. As we had six hours of driving ahead of us, the next day was exhausting. I would not recommend the place if you are looking for a restful night, despite the staff being helpful and attentive.

Came in for dinner with barely anyone seated. Ordered dinner and drinks for my family $143 later and we waited over 45 minutes for our food and by the time we finished, we still had not received our drinks with my daughters drink sitting ready to pour and the staff standing around talking. My daughter and I ordered medium rare steaks and the steaks were far from medium rare. When we pay for food, we expect service and the correct style of steak to be brought out to us and within a reasonable amount of time. Not happy at all.

Took the kids for dinner. The facility itself is nice enough. Playground suitable for small children, not so much for the older ones to do.

The food was just fine. The schnitzel was burnt around the edges but most of it was fine. Relatively fine size for the price.
The garlic prawns was a let down. There were 10 prawns, but barely enough sauce or rice to be called a meal (especially at over $30) and they tried to murder it with parsley.
Only real redeeming quality was the \"free kids meal\" with any adult meal so they had dagwood dogs with chips. Portion size was ok, didnt get a choice on the sauce which was disappointing. No kids dessert included in the \"free\" kids meals.

The sides dishes were ordered afterwards because everyone was still peckish. The onion rings were good, the salad was fine for a salad. The vegies were all undercooked and very wet.

Aside from that, the staff were lovely, the drinks were cold and we would probably go back with the kids again.

Edited - I\'ve changed this from 3 star to 1 star because I\'m still waiting on the refund for the meal I never got.
I\'ve emailed and phoned, spoke to what I\'m being told is the Manager and over a month later, nothing.

Stayed for 1 night, the room was clean, except for the cutlery, the shower was spacious with great water pressure.
The check in was easy, friendly, young lady. Unfortunately very noisy with a loud voice in the unit next to mine and being across from the train station.
I had an issue with receiving the wrong food from the kitchen. The kitchen staff were not helpful but the lovely lady at the desk did the best she could to correct the problem.

Love this place, has a playground for the kids, plently or space, there\'s facepaint and balloons for the kids on Sundays.... BUT the 10/10 review is because I had the BEST dessert of my life here. The fried custard with rhubarb changed my life. Please please please consider bringing it back, or putting it on the permanent menu!!!! Please 🥺🙏🏻
