Christmas In July meal was absolutely perfect. The meals other dinner guests had were also perfect. Staff were fantastic.

Unfortunately, my chicken parmigiana was awful. It was dry, chewy and didn't have enough sauce.

We ordered an extra sauce for the steak and we were happy to pay. However, the size of the sauce is in a small condiment tub and is simply not worth it.

Service was good.
I think overall it's a bit overpriced.

Very accommodating and patient with elderly and disabled guests. Food is good. Meals and quick, and the staff don't seem to change, which tells me, they enjoy working there.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing 5 months lunch meal, we were made to feel so special by the lovely gentlemen who took care of us on the day. Not to mention that the venue looked absolutely fabulous with an amazing atmosphere!

Beautiful location on the park and large meal portions. Biggest parma we've seen in quite some time. Warm and friendly staff, a pleasure to visit.

Has to be the best steak I've ever had. Rib Eye with Red Wine Jus. Will definitely come back

Came for Saturday lunch to celebrate my Sister-in-laws 93rd Birthday. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helped us sign in. Staff in the Bistro were attentive and friendly. The meals were excellent. Could not fault our visit to the RSL. Thank you.

Recently had my wedding and reception in the back private part, civil ceremony conducted by a celebrant with a small group of friends to celebrate the wedding cake sharing and a selected meal. Manager Dan was the greatest, thanks Dan, table service and bar staff were excellent they made it a really great happy day for us and our guests. Thank you all and I can recommend this venue for an important small function or gathering.

Really nice warm relaxing place. Food & staff really good, plenty of free parking.

Had a lunch date here and although we couldn't sit in the dining room (was personally not worried about that), we were quickly offered a place in the bar area where we had a lovely lunch, great service and less crowds.
Loved that the staff showed us an option of a smaller serve!

Really enjoyed our family dinner there. We had a big table and the service was great and everyone enjoyed their meals. Can get slightly noisy when full but just adds to the atmosphere. Really god value for money.

Was there for a catch up for lunch with friends on a Monday afternoon. It was very busy as they had a big group booking for lunch. Managed to get our order in but understandably, there was quite a wait for our food.
Meals were really good and the staff was very friendly despite how busy they were.
Will visit again for sure.

Although the food was OK, it was extremely overpriced, the lady on the door was lovely...that's where it ends. We were given 1 bottle of water for 7 people, after our meals were served, not 1 staff member came back to our table, to clear dishes, offer coffee or dessert. When leaving, I brought this to their attention, only to be told they had new staff in training. Never, ever blame your staff, these problems come from management or a complete lack of training.

Sunny day so our window table offers enticing views of the garden. Many planes flying by at low altitude to land at Moorabbin airport kept our grandson entertained.
Food was delicious, service friendly and professional.

Went there for husband's birthday dinner. Had to chase server around to get service. A tiny bottle of water was given to a table of four that wasn't enough to fill half of the each glasses. Had to wait another ten minutes before we could get another tiny bottle of water. Everything we ordered were salty we couldn't stop drinking water all night long.
Very sad! We used to love going there for a quick grab of good food.

Had a catch up with family and friends. Nice selection on menu. Service was great, stayed for a while without pressure to move on.

As before, meals were okay bangers and mash was more sausages and puree.

1st time we visited the food was good the 2nd time was ok the third time we were 15 people and some of the food was ok. However the caesar salad was terrible, in both the senior (served in a soup bowl) and the so called larger size (same amount on a larger plate). Croutons were many and very dry. Could not taste any dressing at all. We understand there maybe staff shortages, but there is no excuse for a bad salad, when the dressing is preprepared. Good atmosphere, clean but slow service on all 3 occasions. Stick to the schnitzel, which maybe their signature dish. Shame, we won't be going back.

Bland menu choice. Porterhouse steak, ordered medium came out rare and tough.
Grilled Barramundi was undercooked and gooey. All of our chips were remnants overdone and cold. Table of 4x only 1x was happy. At least the wine was good. Maybe the Saturday night rush was too much for them. We did have a 6.30 booking though.

Absolutely an amazing RSL! We popped in here as a guest and was welcomed by multiple lovely staff members. The service was fast and food was absolutely delicious. Highly reccomend the Porterhouse Steak. If we happen to be in the area anytime in the future, I would definitely dine in again!!

Friendly atmosphere. Good food comfortable surroundings. What more could you want?

Modern decor, MASSIVE meals, great staff (except for the covid guy at the front door - you can tell when someone gets some power for the first time in their lives).

Overall, a very positive experience - I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

Great spot to enjoy some drinks, a light meal or something more substantial.

Lots of menu choices and the food comes out quickly and is super tasty.

Aditionally, a nice sports bar and lounge areas to relax.

The RSL in Moorabbin is a fine dining experience. Polite, smiling, willing to assist staff and good food, make it an experience to remember.

Visited for a dinner. Good, relaxing place. The interior was so nice and well maintained. Though it took much long to bring out what we ordered. But the food was really good, well presented. Good service for the customers. Very big area for car parking. Plus even the outside was well maintained and very pleasant.
