Play Pokies at Burrum District Golf Club in Howard

A nice course, run by volunteers of the town. We felt very welcomed when we arrived late on a Friday evening. We're even able to book dinner later on a Friday night.

Everyone on the course and in the establishment were friendly and we enjoyed our experience here.

Would recommend if you want to be with some of the local members of the community and if you want a nice day out on the green.

Great course, even better hospitality. Prices were very affordable for nine holes. The roast pork dinner was also good. Would recommend.

Great 9 hole course, with second 9 on different T locations. Friendly staff and affordable prices.

Burrum District golf club is essentially a 9 hole golf course that has different tee box configurations to make it seem like 18 holes. There are many upsides to this course including cheap green fees, free mini driving range and continuous social play. However, realistically it is still in a growth phase and lacks some luxuries found in Hervey Bay courses (like a pro shop, coffee lounge, restaurant and gaming lounge). Often the bar is locked up and social players pay through an honesty box. Additionally, it is a \'preferred lie\' course due to the patchy fairways. Overall, I had a good experience when I played and will definitely go back.
