The dining area is lovely, more like a restaurant and good service. Steak tasted lovely and the chips were amazing. The dressing on the salad was a bit overdone. Overall, good value for money and my parents really got a great deal with the seniors steak and chips. I would definitely come back.

Very friendly greeting on arrival. Our first time there, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was better than I expected. I had the burger with the lot and my wife the chicken caesar burger. Great to see someone making their own burger patties instead of buying them in, could do with something to bind it though. It was tasty however. My wife's chicken was thigh fillet so it was nice and juicy also delicious as was the southern style coating. Prices reasonable on food and drink as well as a seniors menu. Became a member on the way out to get even more benefits. Will definitely be back. Can recommend it to anyone who lives nearby. ðŸ'ðŸ'¨â€ðŸ³

First visit to the Burpo on 23 May with six other family members. Firstly, your staff were just so lovely and helpful. The food! Absolutely so much on our plates and so very delicious. I only live 1 km away so guess which is my new favourite Tavern? Congratulations on wonderful staff and great food! Roslyn

Have lived in the area for years but never visited until last year when we went for evening dinner. Great food (book first if going Tuesday or Thursday evening as membership draw makes it very popular) with budget priced seniors plates. Desert is great and well proportioned if not sold out due to popularity. I would suggest looking at their site for specials etc. Convenient if driving out from Brisbane ,heading North even if it means a slight diversion to get off the Bruce Hi-way or if heading into the City but don't want to nudge and budge with the city eateries. Locally accessible via the 'back' roads for us locals. Great friendly staff who will get to remember you after a few visits.Having said all, went tonight for the members draw and thank you to the Darts team won a meat tray, so not a bad night after all. (note: not paid or employed by this group or even know socially)

Undercooked crab. Warm oysters. Brought it to the attention of staff. Reply was iam the only customer to complain. Then sent off email. Reply it is cooked to food safety standards.
