Best buffet over 4 continents

Not the cheapest meal experience but real value for money, especially if you have hungry teen-agers.
The food on offer was a huge variety from Asian, Italian, good old roasts, an extensive and exciting array of desserts - even a chocolate fountain, bottomless drinks. Great fun discovering and taste testing everything. Everything was freshly cooked and topped up continuously.
Don't go there if you're not hungry - but if you are it's a gourmet delight.

The burns Club Star buffet is one of the best buffets my family and I have enjoyed. The food was fresh, hot, and ample. I was stunned by the variety of choices and the quality of the cooking. It was well worth every cent we paid. I have paid three times as much for less. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was quisessential Aussie club. It remains our go-to value for money for top quality food place.

Second visit, first a month ago. Quite the hidden gem in Canberra. Ever since the first visit I've been hearing Robbie's bagpipes calling me back.

The buffet has a great seldction of food - chinese food, beef, lamb, seafood, salads, pizza, you name it.

And best of all, the dessert!!!

Went to Sunday lunch today. There is a decent variety but the taste and quality is so lacking. It is over priced for what you get. Much better to go to a regular restaurant and order a variety good quality dishes, especially if you are going as a group. The rest room was the size of a truck stop and had smell and ambiance to match.

No better pub in the south of ACT. A buffet to die for, pokies, pool and snooker table. Massive back deck with live entertainment and a big screen for the footy. Delicious bar food pizzas and well priced drinks. Hands down the warmest place to drink and be merry

Great cocktails, beers with great price, very friendly staff and they have a good buffet restaurant located inside this club. We tried Love Potion cocktails and Bent Spoke tap beer which were very nice.

This is hands down, by far the best all you can eat buffet my family and I have ever eaten! It cost four of us $79. The selection was really good, and everything tasted amazing. The kids went back several times and didn't end up eating dinner! There were roasts, Asian cuisine, sushi, salads, desserts and lots of meats. Oh my goodness everything was perfect. Definitely got our money's worth. Staff were kind and welcoming. Atmosphere was good, not too busy for lunch on a Wednesday. Will come back next time we are in Canberra.

This will probably be the only place in Canberra where you can get an all you can eat buffet. There's plenty of food available to taste and the food is of good quality and taste. They'll charge you like 33 dollars per adult and it's worth it. There's unlimited drinks as well but you need to pay extra for it. It might be good idea to call in advance to make a booking especially on the weekends. Though you can seek admission at the entrance, weekends can be really busy and you may not get a seat.

I'm really glad this restaurant is back open again. Food quality is outstanding. Plenty of staff to clear empty plates away (read = jobs for those that want it). Great value for money. It's definitely worth becoming a member.

I went out with friends and upon arrival for the all you can eat, I asked if there were vegan options and I was told to ask one of the waiters to get the chef who can show me what is and isn't. This I did and the chef went above and beyond, asking if I wanted some of the roast veggies cooked without butter, also because there was no dessert options he came out and gave me a piece of vegan cake. To those vegans who are unsure, I had at least two plates worth of food so there is definitely options :) amazing service!!!

Not sure how they break even with their pricing, but hey I'm not complaining! Glad to have the buffet back post COVID, and the desserts alone make it worthwhile. Of course quality isn't on the high end but neither are the prices. The Asian stuff and pizza is pretty good. Great for kids and the novelty factor of like 80 dishes on the menu. Just need to be disciplined and go in with a strategic eating plan!

Pretty good value, lots of reasonable food at a reasonable price. But what grinds my gears is that if you are not paying cash you must go through a roped off maze to get in, and a surcharge in your debit card. Paying cash you can go straight in.

The food was amazing! It's not gourmet or anything like that, but for the price, it offers such a variety of food and they don't taste bad at all.

There's plenty of food, vegetables, fruits, and desserts for all sorts of stomachs out there.

If you have friends who elate at the sight of a plethora of food, take ''em there.

Best club in Canberra! Great sports bar, awesome all you can eat buffet, excellent staff who know how to treat patrons. Great place for a function or family lunch/dinner. Every Sunday they have the UFC on and is great to watch with the other patrons.

What a great restaurant and the variety of the buffet is next level. The service is always great and the wide variety of dinner/lunch selections at the buffet is unreal! You must visit with the fam, great food selection also for kids and they have deserts and ice-cream galore....you must go and see for yourself, 10/10.

Nothing else like this place in Canberra. Keep up the great work.

I first discovered rated the Burns club during a Christmas party with some colleagues and have been there about 4 times ever since. It's a great place to go with a bunch of friends. The buffet spread is decent for the price. I have always thoroughly enjoyed the place and would continue going there.

I was expecting a bit more of a Scottish feel, it's just like any other club really. It'd be great to have Scottish food on the menu and Scottish beer on tap and even some focus on Scottish sports teams. Buffet had a great variety of food but the food wasn't that hot or of quality.

Great restaurant with or without kids. Variety of delicious food. Various desserts. everything is great! I advise and will come again

This place provides every variety of food you would wish for. $28per person for such many varieties(stir fry,grilled,salads,sea-food ,soups,desserts)is super worth for. I went with my partner,he loved and enjoyed it more. If you are a healthy eating person,they have many varieties of salads too.. A suitable place where you would like to revisit on every occasion. Just make sure you are super hungry when you go there if you want to enjoy as much as you want. We did a booking before we went but they might take walkins too.♡♡

Clean, professional and courteous staff. The buffet is really great. All kinds of dishes from salads to roast, sushi, pastas and deserts all worth every dollar. The best all you can eat in Canberra. So come and try it for yourself.
