Play Pokies at LIONS@springwood in Rochedale South

Good parking, heaps of pokies, friendly staff, good rewards system, have 2 pool tables but can't play them at night because there is no bar person in that bar, pretty clean venue(there has been a cockroach running across the carpet while eating & have received dirty glasses to drink out of, (i know that no place is perfect), mainly food does take a long time to come but when it does arrive it's reaĺly really good when it's actually cooked, (the chefs don't know what is well done is they think everyone is a vampire and like
meat undercooked and still mooing, and a lot of times the main comes and goes before the entrees arrives. Besides that it is really good and they have games available for kids and depending on the night they have some good free entertainment performing.
*Steak undercooked everytime for 6 meals(visits) before I wrote this review. #tryingtosupportlocalbusinesses

We needed a place that would cater for 50 last minute when we arrived reception was welcoming and served us with a smile,food was prompt considering the number of orders and everyone loved there meals. (Thanks Chef and kitchen staff)
Cannot fault Lions club customer service for the food order and bar were awesome!
Had a play area for the children also.
A Must visit🙌🏻
*Recommend the steak and lobster meal for $55 and add the fresh *hot* baked rolls😀🏽

Great dinner but l believe the price of getting a plain Chicken Schnitzel to the cost of Schnitzel with toppings removed is not ok. It's not that hard to make a schnitzel at a cheaper price and still being charged for topping that are removed when ordering. Being mindful that people have allergies to some foods.

Stopped by for lunch, good service but comparing to some other food places serving the same kind of food, the food was mediocre and a fraction pricey. Couple of the foods we ordered we didn't finish because flavour was just not there, eg. Chicken nibbles, were titled Southern fried but flavour was not Southern. Caesar salad was not the greatest heap of mayo parts of salad were soft and soggy. Atmosphere was good we didn't finish our lunch but went into other room, and had a couple of games of 8 ball which we happily finished. All in all nice place. Heaps of parking. Has pokies.

Took my mum and son to the Lions club on Saturday for a birthday lunch. Meals were nice and staff friendly and helpful.
