This is by far one of the best bars to visit. The entry is wonderful walking up the stairs with interesting artefacts.

Cleanliness is kept to a high standards and Jeff the manager has done a great job maintaining its rich heritage.

We really like the Batman novelty statue and if you're a comic fan then this place you will enjoy visiting. Sports on TV channel is also what you'd see.

The food is good although we didn't have time to eat anything but we overheard customers enjoying their meal.

Overall a good experience and feel about this place. Even the carpets are regularly well maintained you can tell as soon as you walk in.

Can recommend the bangers and mash, and the american style burger. Great food prices with a drink. The chesterfield booths, posters, and other pub memorabilia give it a quirky fun vibe. Enjoy.

I recently organised an event at Billy Barry's function room, the experience was brilliant. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless event.
The menus provided something for everyone, and it was evident that careful attention was given to both quality and presentation.
All the partygoers had plenty of food and the staff were amazing at timing the delivery of the selections.
The function area was large, spacious, and bright. The ability to arrange the space into different party zones added a dynamic element to our event, allowing for various activities and atmospheres. Despite being recently renovated, the venue accommodated our desire to personalize the space by allowing us to decorate the walls and ceiling for our themed night. This flexibility made our experience even more enjoyable, as we could create a unique and festive ambiance. Overall, the combination of a well-designed space and the freedom to customize made our event at Billy Barry's truly memorable.

Fantastic spot for after work, weekend drinks, sports, it's got something for everyone, love the Friday$10 cocktails and free pop corn. The place has got like ten thousand little curious all over the place, nice little corner with a couple pool tables, decent size seating, great staff behind the bar...

It's not a good burger it's a great burger, and the chips are the best we have had in a long time. And the price at 18 dollars is fantastic.

We went for a work lunch and as always the food is 10 out of 10.
Billy Barrys pub has a variety of great options to choose from, and is very reasonably priced.
The chicken schnitzel or steak with chips and mushroom gravy is my favourite both delicious choices.
I'd recommend trying the chicken and mushroom pasta as well, which this time on request they left the chicken out to make it a vegetarian dish. The curry and burger were both highly raved about too.

Nice pub if you want to watch sports! But it can be a bit noisy when it's busy. Food was okay overall. It has few range of craft beers which is great!

Nice cosy pub with lots of charm and character. Atmosphere is mixed with professionals knocked off for the day, families, retirees and uni students. Had the wings and wasn't blown away but wasn't disappointed. Chips were tasty too. A couple of pool tables upstairs and the young bar staff were very attentive. There are also plenty of flat screens so it would be a decent spot for live sport. Last but certainly not least, especially in this economy, the prices are very reasonable!

The restaurant here is fantastic. I had Himalayan curry which is the best curry I've had in years. On clearing the table I asked if the cook was Nepali and I was right. The chicken parmigiana my wife had was also great. Excellent friendly staff and pleasant environment made for a great night.

Great meal. I had the steak with mushroom sauce and salad and it was amazing. Our 9 year old daughter came with us and had the calamari while the hubby had the nachos. All really well priced with decent servings. Going back tonight.

Definitely don't recommend this place went for dinner tonight.. first we get looked twice about our IDs
spoken about behind our back by rude staff you both of us are 30 my partner then had a burger and the meat wasn't even cooked told (Andy manager) looked at and goes ohhh yeh right no sorry took forever to get a new only to have the same issue very disappointed.. quote was it's burn on the outside to compensates for it been pink on the inside

Spent a Friday evening here by myself, and the vibes are just immaculate. Not a Sydney-Sider so I was having trouble finding a place to eat, and this place fit the bill. Staff are lovely, music is great, really warm and friendly. And a great price on food!

Most other places were closed in Monday night and Billy's was busy as. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can't beat the price of their meals. The portions are a good size. You'd easily pay two to three times as much at a restaurant. We'll be back again before we head home

It's my favourite restaurant which I used to go whenever I visited this area. It's a classic British style pub/restaurant in Sydney. The food are yummy, especially, the fish and chips. The price is very very reasonable. The staff are very nice and the place is very tidy as well. I will enjoy every moment when I get in.

Great place! The staff can't do enough for you. Value food in a relaxed open welcoming atmosphere. The jukebox is brilliant - even back to 70s!

Shame the faux restrictions have shutdown the pool tables. I'll be back and hopefully sink a few, most likely lose a few quad with some other random.

Perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken schnitzel and chips. Mushroom sauce was creamy and very flavourful. Bar staff were very friendly and on the ball. This is my go to pub for good, cheap pub food with great portions.

Food was delicious (especially the mushroom gravy ), great customer service and love a clean ladies bathroom.
Even happy to change to Thursday night footy.

Boy O boy, this is an absolute must go place in North Sydney, be it ambience, be it food, be it drinks on tap, this place is lit!We visited this place during covid-19 times and they have restrictions put in place. It was pretty good, sanitizers, social distancing and clean tables.I recommend Himalayan chicken curry meal at this place! It is the best chicken preparation of Sydney
