The waiter by the name of Ben was INCREDIBLE. Not only was he quick, efficient, loving, caring and tender - but he was so focused on his attention to detail provided with his service. Definitely going to bring the kids down next time to enjoy another meal.

We had a steak and chicken Palmy. The steak was good but the pamly was processed chicken and wasn't nice at all. Nice place though lots to choose on tap.

Super place to have a drink and some food and relax after a hard weeks work. Staff are super friendly and atmosphere is awesome. Prices are extremely reasonable and an excellent location right next to the bus on Moggill Rd. Can't wait to return!!

We are absolutely loved our visit to the Bellbowrie Tavern. We all ordered the steaks which were cooked exactly how we liked them and the chips and garlic bread were DELICIOUS, the staff were attentive and super friendly and helpful and made sure everything was perfect. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal and some drinks. After we finished our meals we enjoyed some delicious coffee/hot chocolates outside in their seating area where the front door is overlooking some beautiful hills and greenery on a gorgeous sunny day! We highly recommend it for its exceptional food, excellent service, and vibrant atmosphere!

We booked our sons 21st birthday party here and we all had the best time! The service provided by all the staff was wonderful, the process of booking the venue was super easy and they were very accommodating with everything we wanted to do for the night. We called at 830pm on a Saturday night to book a last minute kids birthday party for the Sunday morning due to bad weather cancelling our outdoor plans. They not only accommodated, but the chef said he would come in early to help us.

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal on a busy Wednesday night. We ordered the graziers rump steaks from the seniors menu, with chips, mash and salad on the side. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were full of flavour. The crispy chips and creamy mash were perfect accompaniments, and the salad servings were fresh and nutritious. The pepper and mushroom sauces were the cherry on top of two generous meals.

Service
The staff at the Bellbowrie Tavern were all polite, friendly, and helpful. They were apologetic for a slight delay in getting our drinks, but the food came out much quicker.

Atmosphere
The tavern is spacious and airy, with multiple dining areas, both inside and outside. The interior is carpeted, with high ceilings and strong lighting. The wooden beams and other wooden features give the venue an elegant and stylish look and feel. The whole place has a warm, homely, and welcoming vibe. It's no surprise that it's so popular with the locals and even midweek, there was a decent turnout.

Cost
The Bellbowrie Tavern is a member of the A.L.H. Group of hotels, where you can use your Monty's Rewards to get a 5% discount on all food and drink. The prices at the tavern are modest, especially if you're a senior.

The toilets are clean, well-maintained and easy to find.

There is plenty of unlimited free parking in the car park outside the venue, or in the basement, which has direct lift access to the venue.

Service and tables were fine but the Pork sliders I ordered had bits of prawn in the greens. I'm not allergic, but I do despise the taste and it ruined my meal. EDIT: As a former hospitality worker I understand that a refund or replacement would have been made had I contacted staff regarding the issue however I was not after a refund or re-make rather an indication that cross contamination would not occur again and re-training would be complete. As a former manager within the hospitality industry I understand that this incident breaks several standards that are to be in place within the kitchen and that incidents like these imply a bigger issue within the restaurant. Neither I or My family will be eating here again.

We recently held my wife's 70th birthday party at the Taven and we were very impressed. Ella & her great team had set up the function in the Sportsman Bar and everything was exactly as planned. Ella did a superb job organizing our function...nothing was too much trouble. The day went so smoothly and our guests raved about how delicious the food was and what a great area it was to hold a function in. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of holding a function there. We will definitely be back.. we loved it. Thank you Ella & Team.

We hosted our baby shower at the Tavern and the staff were super responsive from the start. They were helpful in providing suggestions and their function packages were simple and easy to read. The day went smoothly. The room was clean and set up perfectly. The food was great and all of the staff were accommodating. We'd host a function here again.

What a little gem of a tavern it has been a few months since we have been here. We met the new boss Justine she has been doing wonderful things with decor especially outside we had a wonderful lunch inside then we had a coffee and cake special in the courtyard it was a shame to hear that Hannah the old manager had moved on but it's great to see our Tavern is in good hands. Compliments to the chefs the food was great as always I forgot to take a photo of our main meals but the wife had a prawn pasta and I had the wagu steak. Thank you to Adam the chef it was great

Went for lunch with a friend on Saturday my food was cold and my friends took a long time to come out. We both just ordered steak. It was nice but would have been better hot and come out together.

The Bellbowrie has been outstanding recently - delicious food, genuinely friendly service and very reasonable pricing. Whoever has taken over the kitchen should be congratulated (because a couple of years back it could be a bit dicey). Beer is well looked after too. Very pleasing suburban tavern experience. Good for a casual meal anytime.

We held our baby shower function for 55 people on on Saturday and it was awesome. Organising it was super simple with some lovely extra touches including a kids table with party hats (thank you Justine). Ella, who looked after us on the day, was delightful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests loved the food and all had a great time. Definitely recommend for a function.

Once was good... Ate there today and ordered a medium rare 400 g rump etc... at best it was cooked medium but more like medium well done... lucky it was a nice piece of meat and still tender, and their service has gone bad post covid... the staff don't seem to give a damn these days...

I'm a Support Worker, my client and I have lunch here every Friday. We've tried other places for our lunches - however you win!

We come from Woonona Wollongong New South Wales to the Brisbane area where I'm having a great time seeing the sights and eating good food. Then we came here to the Bellbowrie Tavern for dinner, all meals were delicious the best I've tasted anywhere . Hannah the Manager staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. I would recommend this venue to anyone that loves great food a drink and lovely service.

Previously you could order with relative 50/50 safety, but tonight's meals was absolutely feral. What a shame, sort your chefs out, or lose more locals to near by suburbs. Staff show no interest in the quality of the food served and even when dishes are returned due to the lack of care in the kitchen. No apologies, or offer to remake. It's a case of the your money and hope you come back.

Has been a while since eating at the Tavern but we attended a party there last night and were pleasantly surprised. The service and food was wonderful! The starters and the steak and salmon mains were fantastic and perfectly cooked! Well done Bellbowrie Tavern on providing a wonderful venue and meal for our group celebration.

The Breakfast at the Bellbowrie Tavern was one of the best Mother's Day mornings we've had. The food through to the staff and service was all Top Notch and the 3 mothers in our group were all looked after like Queens.
Special shout out to the staff in the kitchen, Caitlyn, Karen, Forest, Annie and of course to the Boss Lady - Hannah, you all helped to make for a wonderful experience.

This is popular haunt and we absolutely love the tavern. Open doors, good music and something for everyone. We booked in for Mother's Day and our ten year anniversary and we were treated special from the start. The food was awesome and the staff are friendly and lovely from the management through to all the staff. We had a lovely time and it made our special day even more special. The lobster was delicious and fantastically cooked.

I have passed the tavern many times but have not called in. I went with family finally and it was nicely set up and service was good. Order a chicken parmy and was huge and very tasty. Recommended for any event or family night out

Went for dinner there first time since restrictions are opening up.nTable service is now a thing which is a welcome addition, though probably part of a covid safe plan.nFood and service was really good. Eye fillet steak was very tender. Hats off to the staff as they are obviously spread thin as is everywhere, with even the chef bringing food out. Everything is spaced out nicely inside, with plenty of room around tables.

Best Pub in the Western suburbs of Brisbane. They do awesome Coeliac safe meals and itu2019s always great service. My go-to is the 60-second flash fried calamari in a main with chips and salad.
