Popped in for a pub lunch and it did not disappoint. Quality food with large portions, beer good. Staff welcoming and friendly, awesome views. Worth a vist if you are in the area.

Couldn't disagree more with previous reviews. Pity mostly those with negative things to say do reviews, typically. What a terrific location to enjoy a meal on the deck with an ocean view. Food was several notches above your average pub meal which was a delight. Wonderful to have some good vegetarian options on the menu other than just pasta, pizza and burgers. Typical prices.

Very friendly and wine knowledgeable staff. The family had a range of food. I had the barramundi. It was tasty. Wifey had the octopus, which she would have preferred crisper. I'm not a fan of integrated gambling facilities, but it's petsonnal. I would go again.

Had the Parmi, unfortunately no taste to the cheese or the tomato sauce. The salad dressing also lacked flavour, chips were good but overall the meal was very bland. Great staff. Hope this helps the cook.

the service was way too slow and took 50mins to get our food after waiting, the chips were cold and the waiters were rude and disrespectful and there wasnt enough cutlery.

Had dinner there, was good but not great. The staff and service was great though. Meal came out quite quickly but I had the vegetables with my steak and it felt like they had been cooked all day and came out tasteless and soggy but the steak was average.

Had a fantastic lunch today with a group of volunteers from Beaconsfield. The meal and dessert were top notch. Excellent, friendly service from the staff too. Compliments to everyone who worked hard catering for a couple of large groups ??'???'?

Been here quite a few times but lately I think the quality of food has gone backwards since our first visits. Maybe they have had a change if chef's? Not sure but a little disappointed and I think we may look elsewhere to dine.

Glad we did! Excellent Friendly service and very good food Fast. We felt happy sitting there with Marvellous views and CC on tap and staff taking the time to be friendly even tho they were again, Very busy! We weren't pushed or rushed and I think Heather and Caitlin should be Highly Commended ... Thanks. We will definitely be back!

Paying $36 for a seafood meal and getting something I wouldn't pay $20 for was extremely disappointing. There we only about 10-20 chips as we. Put on a big plate that was half empty.

I've dined here on and off a lot over the years but today's experience was underwhelming. As seen in another review, our beer battered fish was very minute; 2 small pieces not much bigger than a fish finger. The serving of salad and chips was very small for the $19 I paid. Other meals at our table were not good value for money either. Aside from that the place was clean and the staff were pleasant despite our waitress telling us she had completely different meals to what she was actually handing out, confusing everyone! The drink selection was reasonable and I note the decor has been slightly upgraded. There's a nice view of the marina to enjoy while you have your meal but a few sections of the venue were closed off, possibly due to past COVID protocols. Based on today's experience I'm giving 2 stars. Hopefully they will improve on this because around 20 years ago I had one of my most memorable meals there.

Very nice and friendly staff specially julie. I will recommend this place as its on the waterfront. Kids enjoyed a lot too. We spent a night here 14/15 will prefer visit again for next time.

Had a lovely stay at Beauty Point Hotel. Julie and her staff were fantastic. Beauty Point lives up to its name and is a great place to stay for a few days. We visited the lavender farm, the berry farm where we picked our own strawberries and the nearby penguin colony at Low Head. Launceston is only a 35 minute drive away. Food at the pub was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Absolute ripoff. $29.50 for a full serve Fish and Chips. The fish serving consisted of 4 battered slices of fish. Each smaller than a fish finger. The salad and chips were the same sized portion as the 1/2 serve sized Lunch option. The chips were lukewarm and not crispy.
The photos are of the $29.50 full serve and the $18 Lunch option 1/2 serve (1 fish portion) which makes my 3 extra fish fingers cost $11.50

Came to Beauty Point to visit my Mother In-Law & decided to stay at Waterfront Hotel. It exceeded our expectation, staff were absolutely brilliant & our room was VERY clean. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. My husband and I thought it was awesome that staff gave slices of bread so we're able to have toast for breakfast & full cartons of milk. Unlike other hotels that give small pouches of milk.

If we could I would give 10 stars to this hotel & staff. We will be back!

Lovely place to sit out in the sun and enjoy the view when the weather is good. When the weather is bad, one can sit inside and get warm by the log fire. I haven't eaten here yet but heard it's pretty good.

We just stayed here absolutely loved the view, room was neat tidy and fresh everything worked well. Beautiful location quiet a good walk down along the waterfront. We had done dinner at bistro part food was absolutely lovely and a fantastic size. Toddler friendly had a high chair and room was great for him.
Would love to come back someday beauty point is one of our favourite places to visit. Also super friendly staff. Loved everything Thankyou

If you really want a WoW moment that lasts all through your meal order a seafood platter to share. I'd recommend a light lunch if you're planning this for dinner! Absolutely delicious and if the first bite is with your eyes then all the senses were very happy!

Beautiful pub with amazing accommodation - gorgeous water views. The whole team at the pub are delightful and the food is delicious. Don't just go for a meal, stay for the weekend.

My local pub, food is pretty good, service is good of a night. New owners have a bit to learn about having a pub, but overall good pub. Awesome warm open fire.

This eatery is ideally situated on a back looking over the Tamar estuary. The food was good and the atmosphere a little noisy due to a large booking on the day.
The prices were fair but certainly not cheap. I had a scotch fillet steak with a seafood sauce, the meal was very nice but as expected in country eateries in Tasmania the medium rare steak was actually medium or medium well but still outstanding.

Calamari was cooked to perfection. Best salad. freindly staff.

Nice spot for lunch with a good view. Our seafood platter was delicious, plenty for 3 people. The salmon was a bit over cooked, but other than that, I couldn't fault it. Staff are friendly.

Food and staff were super friendly. The seafood platter for one had a variety of seafood and could really feed 2 people! Prawns and scallops done two ways, with a few different sauces. Beer on tap is good price. Coffee was ok - cappuccino had too much milk.
